Phytoburst is perhaps the best 2 drop pump spell with no other effects.

It almost lets you Become Immense with 0 cards in your graveyard turn 2!

Probe is the most unnecessary thing that this deck has, so it should be the thing that goes, logicly

Distortion Strike does well for me in my simic infect.

The problem I find with Phytoburst is that for 1 extra mana, your only getting +1/+1 over the 1 drop spells, which would be better saved for the protection spells. Never underestimate just how good Gitaxian Probe is for infect.

Probe is so powerful for 2 life u get to know your opponents hand so u can plan accordingly with your attack or wait for protection if he/she has a removal spell and u DRAW a card and fuel the delve for Become Immense all for the low price of 2 life.

Draw a card and checkout someone hand for 2 life is a great spell

Added Birds of Paradise because in my meta they've got a LOT of removal spells.

What I've learned from today's local tournament:

Dont keep one landers.

Add Birds of Paradise.

Have more protection spells.

Dont put out creature if you have protection on hand, wait for more mana to protect that creature.

Learned the hard way about Sudden Shock, Added 2x Wild Defiance for stuff like this, removed Blossoming Defense from mainboard moved to 2x SB, Cut Apostle's Blessing in half added Distortion Strike for this and 4x Groundswell for testing because I felt I was lacking some pumps.

I'd personally would keep blossoming defenc and Apostle's Blessing over Wild Defiance I only run one of those in my sideboard with 2 Spellskite in the sideboard as well. But the extra protection that blossoming provides for one mana better than casting defiance that eats 3 mana which eats 3 1 mana pump spells

True, but since I'm yet to have the Spellskite which I know would be useful I need something for stuff like Sudden Shock and with mana dorks I can put out a Wild Defiance T2

Spellskite is a must for infect so that you have protection from lightning bolts and such

I run 3-4 in my meta, which runs alot of mono red burn

I run 2 spellskite and 1 wild defiance in sideboard. I run 2 spell peirce mainboard. Yea turn 2 defiance good if they don't bolt your mana dork turn 1. Blossoming much better u can defend and save your creature for one mana

I use to be a huge fan of Wild Defiance but it just not as effective. It can be potent and even is good against Spellskite cause it can't steal the plus 3 from it. I been playing without it now for some time now.

Have u tried adding a Dismember or 2 to the mainboard it extremely helpful and I like to have one or two Twisted Image mainboard as well it gives u so many things to help against bad matchups instead of scooping game 1 to a bad match up u have a catch to slug it out.

R.I.P. Gitaxian Probe :( Replaced with Serum Visions temporarily until I read a better idea. Moved Apostle's Blessing to sideboard only adding 2 more Distortion Strikes

My friend lend me Hierarchs for 2 tourneys and I gotta say that Exalted is useful :| will keep on hoarding $$$ to buy them now that I have all else.

Removed Birds of Paradise after reading reddit comments on Gitaxian Probe and Noble Hierarchs and Birds of Paradise and Cathedral of War, added 2x Ichorclaw Myrs, moved Dryad Arbor to sideboard, switched to 4x Distortion Strike for consistency of unblockable.

And they're back again

And with a little bit of lucky winds and quick post mail I might just get 4 Noble Hierarch's within the next few days (yay)

The deck is still below 600$ I disagree with this pricing here is op.

That still makes it 200$ cheaper than most decklists, I hope it's not worse.

So after a month of playing only online, I visited my local tournament and went [win, termination] (draw), [win, loss, win] (win), [loss, win, loss] (loss) and finished at third.

Need more Blossoming Defense in place of Spell Pierce for tron like decks and not having enough blue mana to use it consistently. Other than that I will play with 3x Dismember as those pesky Spellskites and Eldrazi Displacers

Also SIDE IN Fogs FOR THOSE AGGRO ELVES!
