This deck requires that you consider your hp as a resource to protect your engine. The utility you gain from face tanking will outweigh what damage taken directly. why? your creatures will get pump up quickly meaning your opeant will be looking for set piece trades & board clears. These situations occur most often when blocking, refusing to engage this way creates a much sharper position for both players. You will of course be low hp with no life gain & your opeant can only board clear via spell or blocking your blunders.
