_"What began as a featureless slug coiled and tensed in the air, bulging and bristling with scales and spikes. The creature solidified into a massive, armored eel, born from the interstices of the Cosmos itself. The jaw opened. Dislocated. Venom-laced teeth like towering spikes glistened against the cyanotic flesh of its maw. Its shriek ripped through the sky, a tortured cacophony of twisted metal, toppled cities, whole worlds ground to rubble.

Deckbuilding Philosophy

We knew for a long time we would be getting a Norse mythology inspired set. So I've been expecting the MtG equivalent of Jormungandr for just as long. As soon as spoiler season started, I made sure to keep my expectations in check. What if the card was no good ? What if the artwork wasn't good enough ? What if there wasn't even a Jormungandr ? And then came Koma, Cosmos Serpent. Fantastic artwork (love Jesper Ejsing), flavourful and unique abilities. My only gripe is that I'd have liked a Dimir or three-color commander, but given the flavourful text I'm not complaining.
