Construct Tribal in Standard?

I considered running a Black/Red version of this deck with Bomat Courier, Scrapheap Scrounger, and Unlicensed Disintegration, but I eventually decided the counterspells and card-draw were better in Blue.

I also considered a Blue/Red version of this deck that included Chandra, Torch of Defiance, but decided that Verdurous Gearhulk and its synergy with the rest of the deck was too good to pass up. It pairs well with Walking Ballista, often comes out on turn four thanks to Foundry Inspector, works with Improvise if needed, and get further pumped by Metallic Mimic and Chief of the Foundry.

Metallurgic Summonings pairs especially well with Improvise spells like Reverse Engineer and also creates decently-sized creatures thanks to counterspells.
