You are absolutely correct; silly of me. However, we could change this combo slightly and still allow it to work as intended. All we need to do is sacrifice the original Sharuum right after step 1, as a response to the original Sharuum entering the battlefield and the triggers that are put on the stack as a result of that.
Doing it this way, the legend rule does not need to go into effect; the original and copied Sharuum will never simultaneously be on the battlefield. Also, the triggered abilities of both Mirrorworks and Minion Reflector will still work. After all, the official rules of both cards include:
"If the artifact that caused Mirrorworks's/Minion Reflector's ability to trigger has already left the battlefield by the time the ability resolves, you can still pay 2. If you do, youll still put a token onto the battlefield. That token has the copiable values of the characteristics of that nontoken artifact/creature as it last existed on the battlefield."
I will make the appropriate changes to the combo. Thank you for noticing this; it's much appreciated!

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice = All indestructible. $$$, though for Lattice.
Aetherflux Reservoir + Sydri, Galvanic Genius = Give Aetherflux lifelink, pay 50 life, kill a player, gain 50 life, repeat
Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve = Take all the extra turns

I have a question about the Sharuum the Hegemon + Mirrorworks/Minion Reflector + Krark-Clan Ironworks/Ashnod's Altar combo.
At step 4. wouldn't the legendary rule (as a state based action, that resolves before you gaining priority) prevent you from sacrificing the original and copied Sharuums?
