Turn 1: island, holding a Thought Scour and a Rapid Hybridization in hand, casting the thought scour if no 1 drop threats are played.
Turn 2: Drowned Catacomb or swamp, playing a Heartless Summoning
Turn 3: options abound here: play a couple of 2-4 drops (Black Cat, Laboratory Maniac, Elgaud Shieldmate), or play either Havengul Lich or Consuming Aberration. Usually playing Consuming Aberration here is risky, as he's being hurt a bit by the Heartless Summoning. However, all you need is for him to hang around for a turn for you to get some use out of him.

Fun interactions: Havengul Lich + Black Cat + Heartless Summoning = repeatable random discard for 2 mana
Havengul Lich + Disciple of Bolas + Heartless Summoning = repeatable sac engine/life gain/card draw
Consuming Aberration + Laboratory Maniac + Disciple of Bolas = draw out for the win (w/ Psychic Spiral in hand, means you can mill your opponent out instead if they try anything funny)
Consuming Aberration + Essence Harvest = life swing for at least your opponent's graveyard size, usually more.
