Arne_Treholt Thanks, glad you like it. I definitely agree about the need for removal but I don't know what to take away. I'll sideboard them for now.

I really like the Devoted Druid -Quillspike -Thornling -Necrotic Ooze combo. I got all of the cards with Grisly Salvage . I think you should run 4 of those. Otherwise, I really like the deck. +1, definitely.

So I really like your idea for this deck. My suggestions is to narrow it down though. You should add Maelstrom Pulse and Abrupt Decay into your main board to control the board more. You need to pull off your winning combos after all. I would also add Thoughtseize , but if those are to expensive add 3x Duress instead. And in order to make room for those cards you need to cut down your creature count which is large, and I understand why. We see just trying to help you make it balanced.
I would also like to see a really good description for this deck so you can lay out what you would like to happen with it. Also it would make you justify putting every single listed card.
Hope that helps some.

@eklamor Thanks for the input; I took a look and made some major changes. Started working with the description some as well.
I can afford everything right now except for the 4x Verdant Catacombs . I'll have to wait a couple pay checks to pick the stuff up though.

Hey there, it's great to see someone else using Necrotic Ooze in modern! I absolutely love that creature and have built a deck around it myself. I have played with this creature, and this combo, for quite some time and I can say from experience that Fauna Shaman is absolutely invaluable. I would recommend upping it to 4. Also, have you considered a singleton Grim Poppet ? With it and Devoted Druid in the graveyard! necrotic ooze can wipe your opponent's board at instant speed any time.
You got a +1 from me! Feel free to check out my deck, Infinity Ooze, if you like.

Loving the changes you made since last time I saw this! Looking pretty solid. I would give another +1 if I could.

@Caes I love the Grim Poppet I'll be replacing Avatar of Woe with it on the sideboard, thanks for the great suggestion.
I had 3xFauna Shaman and 4xBirds of Paradise but opted to remove them for some control and dropped my shamans down to two.
@Arne_Treholt Thanks, I was recommended to add some control to ensure my creatures or theirs couldn't kill me.

@ZSensei90 Kitchen Finks could be a good possible card for the deck; I added it to the maybeboard. Melira, Sylvok Outcast would break the Devoted Druid + Quillspike combo so that one will have to be a no go. On the other hand the Quillspike would interact similarly with Kitchen Finks .
Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice to see another Necrotic Ooze deck! I would make suggestions, but instead I'll just show you mine so you can compare them.

I must say I do like what you've got going on here. However you seem to be lacking removal, which can be very important in modern. I think some Maelstrom Pulse and Abrupt Decay would really help out.
