Yet again! My second mono-black mill deck, just because I can!!! And my fastest deck yet! Combo Grindstone and
Painter's Servant
for an infinite mill combo and, with the help of Dark Ritual, Sol Ring and the Diabolic Tutor/Demonic Tutor/Beseech the Queen, you get to pull out the 2 necessary cards extremely easy and with mana to spare!
Once Grindstone +
Painter's Servant
are in play, you'll need to pay 3 mana of any color to activate the Grindstone's ability, and therefore milling the entire opponent's deck.
WARNING: Do NOT choose colorless as the colors with
Painter's Servant
. Colorless cards does not chain with the effect of Grindstone, therefore ending the infinite combo.
Now, in this deck, we can spare a few life points, where Infernal Contract comes into play with its Draw 4 power!!! (At the cost of half your hp rounded up) But for the winning speed this deck contains, it would hardly be a problem to have very low hp. (If there would so happen to be a slight delay,
Shield Sphere
comes into play with its magnificent 0/6 for 0 cmc!)
Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual and Sol Ring are a must have in this deck, for it generates mana very quickly. It is so efficient that I even use the Tutors to grab them first before the great combo, to then play even more cards at the very start! If lucky, you could even pull out 9 mana on turn 1! (Swamp + 4 Sol Ring)(Very small chance. But getting 1 or 2 is more likely)
