I would personally suggest if you want to make a good control deck you need a lot less creatures, preferably replacing most of your low drop creatures with more "answers" to enemy creatures. Things like vapor snag to slow them down, or counters to actively remove them, with the goal being that the board is empty until you can kill the opponent. Specific spells I would suggest include Cryptic Command , which is a pretty solid and versatile blue spell and the draw that you usually tack onto it is great. Remand can largely be a vapor snag with a draw attached to it which can also essentially target instants and sorceries. Overall your actual control spells are pretty solid but I wouldn't suggest Turn To Frog, as it's frankly too situational to rely upon. Turn To Frog is more of an aggro combat trick card than a control card.

The method of victory you use is pretty tenuous to rely on, as you are trying to out aggro the opponent with small easy to kill creatures that just can't compare to the cards aggro players will have, or get past another control player's spells. I would suggest a powerful, easy to protect creature that can end the game almost definitely once it hits the field. A fairly good blue card for this purpose is AEtherling , which is seeing quite a bit of play in standard control at the moment due to it's unblockability, high damage, and almost invulnerability to spells. Similarly Batterskull sees a bit of play in modern and is particularly difficult to kill as well as its lifelink being extremely useful against aggro decks.

Cryptic Command is a very viable option for addition. Remand I personally wouldn't add because I don't heavily rely on draw, just turn set up. Turn to Frog is for combat that's hard to over come. I generally run three in this deck instead of the of the other Sturmgeist . Plus Mind Control is in this deck for when the enemy moves to play a heavy hitter. I do like the idea of AEtherling though. I hadn't though of him. He is very high cost for this deck though. I will most definitely be considering him as I go to revise this deck.

Need more lands. At least 24. Also, Invisible Stalker is pretty useless here since there is nothing making him bigger. If you are gonna run him run 4 of him and 4x Curiosity and 4x Sigil of Sleep for lots of fun =). Add AEtherling , its a pretty solid wincon.

I'm pulling Amazon up right now to get the Sigil of Sleep and three more Invisible Stalker s. Sigil will be a def add-in for this deck.

I went to a friends house today and got:

2x Vedalken Anatomist , an Echo Mage , Niblis of the Breath , AEtherling and a Stolen Identity .

Any ideas on what I should remove, or what I shouldn't add? (The Stolen Identity I plan to add to one of my other decks, but I feel it could really help this deck as well.)

That's what I was starting to think from "trying" to play test this deck. I really need to play more often with this deck now that I'm updating it. Thanks for the tip mate.
