Well yes, versus this massive discard and land destruction it is very hard. Maybe the Leyline in my sideboard helps in game 2. It stops all discard spells and gives me more time to setup my bubble.

But not all the time you can draw your leyline in your starting hand, in that way, i have a chance to discard the leyline and also slow you down by destroying your lands, even my liliana can sacrifice your permanent,. And also if your opponent have also a sideboard like Serenity and Pernicious Deed, all your enchantments will be destroyed. All players have their sideboard to have an advantage on their opponents right? The question is, how can we stop that massive destroyer of artifacts and enchantments spell? Do you have an idea? :-)

Well for massive destruction I run Karmic Justice in my sideboard. Versus B/G I board it every time because of Pernicious Deed. If my opponent kills my enchantments this way, I kill him everything. Karmic Justice triggers even when its destroyed.

This is cool deck. All the playtest challenges are silly though - maybe refresh comments soon?

So I'm assuming you looked over Sylvan Library just cause of the price tag? One of the most powerful enchantments ever printed in my opinion, and it could be a worthy edition to the main deck if you can afford it!

This card makes no sense in this deck, because Sylvan Library doesn't work with Solitary Confinement. With Solitary Confinement you have to skip your drawstep and so the Library won't trigger. Because of this fact I run Mirri's Guile instead.

He might be hard to proc, but Heliod, God of the Sun might fit right in. Throw fuel into your draw engine with his ability, gains protection with your Sterling Grove, might be semi hard to turn on but will hit pretty hard when he does.

Nylea, God of the Hunt is less synergistic but a lot easier to turn on in here..and she can plus herself if needed? 6/6 ends the game fast

when in doubt there is always Thrun, the Last Troll as a solid 1x beater that can't be removed.

Just spitballing a few cards that came to mind, fantastic deck! its always nice to see legacy decks breaking through the mold of stoneblade, delver, and jund.

Hi Bababad, thanks for your suggestions! I think Heliod, God of the Sun is a nice idea. Maybe I will try this option in the sideboard, in combination with Serra's Sanctum this creature is unstoppable.

In my opinion the other two creatures don't fit that good.

That's fine, Heliod was the main suggestion anyways.

:)

Fantastic deck, been playtesting it against my friends' builds.

Thank you! Great that you like it! And for Legacy conditions it is a very cheap deck.

Is Dragonlord Dromoka any good in legacy or this deck???

I think this one is too slow and it would be killed by spotremoval. But a creature I'am thinking about is Sigarda, Host of Herons, very nice versus Pox-Decks.

Yeah, good point.

Run Dromoka and run hexproofing for it.

You might like Luminarch Ascension as a wincon. It's easy to get out, and it goes well with Serra's Sanctum.

Granted it does take a few turns to get started.

I think it's too slow.

Right, but too expensive in legacy :).

I had good results on the last tournaments with this list: 4-0 on a FMN in the local store (12 players) and 4-3 on a larger event (127 players). It's nearly impossible to beat a Storm deck with this list, thats why I replaced Karmic Justice with Mindbreak Trap in my sideboard. Maybe some day I'll be lucky with this!

June 7, 2016 6:34 p.m.

Hey, are Savannas too expensive? They'd really help the deck out.

As for sideboard, I'd also play Spirit of the Labyrinth for miracles and storm. Just brutally punishes the opponent. Actually, its so good I think a maindeck playset is going to crush. any decks running brainstorm or other Cantrips just gets boned soooo hard.

Savanna just sucks in this deck, because with this Wasteland gets targets again. You never want to enchant a Savanna, because you don't only lose the land but also the enchantment. I have absolutely no trouble with mana in this list.

Spirit of the Labyrinth is a good advice. In mainboard it hurts me too much, but maybe it works in sideboard.

The Library doesn't work with Solitary Confinement, because you have to draw the cards.

If emmy's in your deck, Defense of the Heart would be nice in the sideboard, or even run Forbidden Orchard and Defense mainboard since you don't care if they have creatures with your lock up.
