Maybe some transmute cards could be helpful: Dizzy Spell can find High Tide, among other cards. Muddle the Mixture tutors for Cyclonic Rift.
I've found Ixidron to be a surprisingly powerful answer to creatures, and some decks have real trouble once their commander is a useless 2/2. Could be something for you.

Thought about adding him, still might. Trying to keep creatures to a minimum since I don't have the best defense vs removal.

where are the counterspells?

Went more for the bounce route, there's only a handful of counters.

Wouldnt counter be a more reliable method of removal? Although bounce may be okay ive never really seen it.

In my limited experience with it, a bounce into stringing turns has ended games, I'm still early with the build and always tweaking.

The more I'm playing with it, the more seeing what's dead in hand and will be tweaking constantly. Ixidron, and Pact of Negation will probably be my next adds.. I never realized how dumb ixidron is for opponents, cause it doesn't morph them. A simple Counterspell might make it in as well.

theres a bunch of good ones just look at Baral, Chief of Compliance or azami builds. counter spells that is.

What about Thing in the Ice as an option?

I did have thing in for a minute, but it hurts when tokens are out, with a card like crush of tentacles, I can simply discard it. I suppose the same could be said for thing, but if I don't have it early I can probably never play it late.

Not sure...

I tell you though, late game with plenty of mana flowing, Capsize becomes the game ender, especially if you're taking turns.

That makes sense. I'm a huge fan of control, so I like this build! It might be a long shot, but Azor's Elocutors would be a fun win condition if you could string together enough turns.

Nice in theory, but I cannot play it because of its white identity, a card I was just enlightened to, and didn't know existed is, Lighthouse Chronologist. That is a game changer in a 4-man pod.

Oh ok. I thought with it being white or blue, it could fit since it could go either way. Still a new player, so thanks for the insight. Yes! The Lighthouse Chronologist is nice!

Almost screams Gilded Drake with all those bounces.

Nice one. It's like a crossbreed of two of my decks; the Jace deck and my Mizzix deck.
