I know this isn't much of a recommandation, but personally I think that this deck would be better suited with 26 lands rather than 27. Just something I thought I could throw out, but it doesn't really matter.

Drogskol Reaver I can imagine is really good if it sticks for taking out the threats you are talking about but it is so much of an investment that you will be tapping out on Turn 7 just to get Azorius Charmed and clog you up even further. But that Boros Reckoner would have been pounding in your face for 3 turns, Restoration Angel for 2 and the Thragtusk's life would have already been gained and it still has a beast token. Other than that I love this list with that alternate mill condition, watching it beat the pillars in Pro Tour Gatecrash was awesome. P.s. Check out my version of American Control Tamiyo's Boros Party or B/W/R aggro build, Race to Your Face both are competitive and I would love your opinion on how they would hold up in the format.

When you put it that way, yes, Drogskol Reaver seems like a weak and unnecessary card. The main reason I run it though, is not to answer things like Boros Reckoner and Thragtusk(also, I don't care about thrag gaining them life). Instead, I run it for the sheer amount of card advantage and life it produces. Essentially, It is my Prime Speaker Zegana, and usually, I dont play it turn 7. Instead, I use it to get control of my opponent again, in case they are building up they're board position again and I need life/cards in hand. The turn 3, 4, and 5 reckoner, resto, thrags have all already been answered by the time I look to play Drogskol Reaver

Oh I get you, I was building an Esper build a couple weeks ago and Drogskol Reaver definitely came across my mind as a consideration, like I said great build
