So I took this to FNM, went 2-2. Only cards I was missing were the Devour Flesh and Blood Baron of Vizkopa, since I couldn't find any in time.
1st Round 2-1 vs Mono Green, splash White: Lost the first round because I couldn't get my Supreme Verdicts out in time. Staved off most of his creatures but simply wasn't drawing enough kill spells. Round 2 and 3 I won with Aetherling and an ultimated Elspeth vs his wall of hydras and other hexproof green creatures. Luckily, I was able to take care of his Voice of Resurgence early in two of the games by doomblading it and then Azorius Charming the token. Witchstalker was a really big hassle and he had one out each game, but Supreme Verdict got rid of those and Sylvan Caryatids. Luckily, round 3 I thoughtseized a Rootborn Defenses from his hand, he had no answer to an ultimated Elspeth.
2nd Round 2-1 vs Boros Midrange: This was an interesting matchup, my opponent had no aggro and opted for more 3-5 mana range cards. I had great advantages because of this and was able to keep the board clear, except for the first game when I was tapped out and he put down a Hammer of Purphoros, making his creatures come in with haste and sacking mountains to make 3/3 golems. It was very close but he Lightning Striked me for the remaining health after taking some damage from Fanatic of Mogus. Rounds 2 and 3 I drew tons of kill spells and was able to dissolve his hammer and thoughtseize his hand twice for Boros Charms each time. I mopped up with Aetherling in game 2 and 3.
3rd Round 0-2 vs Mono Red Aggro: I had a bad misplay early on and couldn't keep up with the amount of creatures he was putting down. I drew no Supreme Verdicts in this match whatsoever and wasn't able to stabilize, I think both rounds ended around turn 7 or so.
4th Round 0-2 vs Gruul: This deck had all the big red green cards with the usual ramp, even for a "homebrew" FNM night. Both rounds I was able to get my wincons but still lose. I forget exactly what happened round 1, but I think I didn't find any of my supreme verdicts and enough kill spells. Round 2, I was able to consistently wipe the board, drawing all 4 of my supreme verdicts. Unfortunately, I was unable to deal with Garruk and Domri Rade, failing to get my Pithing Needles and Heros Downfall. I would wipe and he would just mill 5 cards drawing more creatures for me to deal with. I even had Aetherling and Elspeth on the board but he had too much devotion on the field with bow of Nylea, his planeswalkers and Nykthos, that he could just fill the board right back up and I was left playing defense, especially against Xenagos' 2/2 haste Satyr every turn. It was a Nylea's trample and Mistcutter Hydra that did me in, unable for me to Dissolve, and unable to chump block enough with my Soldier tokens and taking the trample damage for the loss. This was a game that Merciless Eviction would have worked wonders in, would have exiled all 3 of his planeswalkers.
Anyway, I had fun but a little disappointed how much rides on getting Supreme Verdict. Hopefully when I find the rest of the cards I need this deck will perform a little better.
