I've been trying mill decks over the last few months and I found the weak point with them is they couldn't handle creatures or other spells my opponents attack me with.

This mill deck tries to stop that from happening. While I build my mana pool to make cards like Mind Grind really effective, I use spells such as Ultimate Price, Murder, Psychic Strike, and Rewind to try and stop my opponent's strategy from working effectively.

I also found that a lot of creatures I have used in the past are a bit of a waste. This mill deck relies very little on creatures. Even creatures that are in many mill decks I've found such as Jace's Phantasm and Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker are not included in this.

The other issue I encountered is that my mill decks were a bit one-dimensional. So I've added a couple of combos that can be used to just simply kill off my opponent in one shot. I've added Consuming Aberration and Essence Harvest as a way to do this in one quick sweep.

I played a four-way game with this a couple nights ago to see what would happen. I decked out all three of my opponents. Maybe that was beginners luck, but who knows.
