Tons of control. Tons of unblockables. And the swords. A very tempo-based deck. Hang back and build your field up while controlling your opponents with counter spells and removal. Then when it's time to attack, do so with little to no repercussions and a crap load of BS provided by the swords. Thassa provides a free scry 1 at the beginning of your turn and can make herself unblockable to boot. Ghastlord provides an easy 5 devotion to turn her into a creature as soon as he hits the field and allows for more direct life damage as well as hand control over your opponent(s). AEtherize provides a bit of a cushion against ramp/aggro decks who can build a field quickly. Creeping Tar Pit can be used as a blocker or a wielder for one of the swords if you're in a pinch and can potentially be a game winner. Swords provide a lot of room for combos, my favorite being Feast and Famine along with Fire and Ice. Cast spells - Combat - Feast and Famine = opponent discards, you untap your lands - Fire and Ice = free burn for 2 and draw a card with all lands untapped to cast more spells. And, of course, Whips for life gain and free face-damage with all your unblockables.

All in all, it's a pretty fun deck to play. It can be pretty slow at times but if you like decks with loads of control.

Swapped out the 3x Deathcult Rogue for 3 True-Name Nemesis. Obviously, what was I thinking?
