Really cool deck. +1 from me, not just because you gave my deck one lol. One thing I would suggest is 1 more land because your running a pretty high mana curve and 23 lands in my opinion would be better.

With you playing Crypt Ghast i would add a couple Debt to the Deathless can be a good game ender. Here is my B/W deck in progress Your life is mine And yes i named it before i ever saw your deck :P

What do you think about running Orzhov Charm in place of Murder to give yourself more options. Could still be used for removal, at a cheaper cost than murder, but you can also use it to protect Griselbrand or Obzedat, Ghost Council from removal or board wipe.

@Siphen I think that Debt to the Deathless is not a bad card, but even with Crypt Ghast , it is very expensive. I have tried it out in here before and probably eighty percent of the time it felt like a dead draw. I might sideboard it, thanks for the suggestion.
@Caibre I love the idea of Orzhov Charm and I have discovered that it would work perfectly with Typhoid Rats to instantly return a deathtouch blocker. The opponent would be completely surprised after attacking with a large or important creature. It's a very good idea and it can save my larger creatures as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Obviously Liliana of the Veil comes to mind, and not a bad idea overall, with the discard, but it would require me to change too many cards which I am not willing to do, and Liliana is way too expensive if I wanted to use her. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Very well built, sir, very well built! Would you care to look at mine and add your two cents to the deck...i think i got something but would like another persons judgement

First: Your on your way to a seriously solid build. The build you looked at is an old build and I just haven't had the time to go back and update it. In that build I am using Liliana. However in the updated Build I am using Sorin.
Good Call on the Typhoid Rats
If your going to run Sorin, Lord of Innistrad ...
Your not getting good mileage out of him or your Lingering Souls -1 Rhox, Get rid of Teysa. -1 Guildmageadd 3 Cartel Aristocrat . She will do a lot of work for you.

Here, went ahead and updated to the version I am currently playing.

Thanks for the suggestions, they make a lot of sense. I will definitely try to work in Cartel Aristocrat . She seems pretty awesome.
June 2, 2013 12:55 p.m.
The only reason I am saying Nix Teysa and re-work is because your build is bulky. and cumbersome. Your a mana traffic jam waiting to happen and you will stall out and die as soon as Crypt Ghast leaves play. He is your key card.
I have been down this road. If you want to run Crypt Ghast then you have to go very heavy removal and focus on protecting him.
First you have a lot of "conditional"
Vizkopa Guildmage combo is Conditional to having Exquisite Blood
Exquisite Blood is conditional to having Crypt Ghast
Griselbrand turn 5 is conditional to a turn 4 Crypt Ghast
turn 5 Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts is conditional to a turn 4 Crypt Ghast
11 Creatures + 3 spells and 2 Planeswalkers = 16 Cards are conditional to Crypt Ghast hitting the field and sticking, or else your in a mana jam and have just gone from casting multiple spells to a single spell a turn.
You have a total of 5 removal objects 3 @ Instant Speed. 2 at Enchantment Speed. Stop hiding behind Oblivion Ring What are you afraid of exactly? A planeswalker? Derp Derp man. Vampire Nighthawk + Sorin Emblems !?!?!
Always immediately -2 Sorin and make an emblem when he hits the board. I don't give a rats ass if he dies. I have more. Emblem, Emblem, Emblem.
Imagine the following as an example:Turn 1: Typhoid RatTurn 2: Cartel AristocratTurn 3: Vizkopa GuildmageTurn 4 Crypt Ghast, Turn 5 Exquisite Bloodyour board looks like this on your turn 6:
Vizkopa Guildmage , Exquisite Blood , Typhoid Rats , Cartel Aristocrat
You announce "Combat". You tap 1 black , 1 white and a colorless and Announce " Activating Vizkopa Guildmage Second ability.
Then Announce " Ready / Willing " Casting the Willing Side. Then Sacrificing the Typhoid to the Cartel giving pro whatever and swinging for the trigger and lethal. This whole time you have just let your opponent swing their hearts out at you without blocking a single damage.
( I used Ready / Willing instead of the Vizkopa Guildmage first ability because most times an Extort trigger is used to spark the infinite combo. )
Now dissect that. What could have gone wrong on 5 turns to stop that? 1 removal Spell screws your entire tempo and pushes you out to no less than turn 8 before you can combo off properly. all the while you have a hand full of cards that you can't be effective with because they have to many other pieces needed in order to have synergy effectively.
I love Orzhov. But many of us have a issue with backing ourselves into a corner with Crypt Ghast so our curve gets way out of hand. you looked at my Tempo Orzhov v.6 Deck. Now look at my Orzhov Midrange
You have to re-double your efforts and lower your curve. If you handed this to me and said "Fix it"
Teysa goes
Rhox goes
Crypt Ghast goes to 3 of
Griselbrand goes to 2 of
Oblivion Ring goes
Orzhov Charm is a 1 of
Tragic Slip is a 4 of
Guildmage is a 3 of
Nighthawk is a 3 of
Obzedat is a 2 of
Sorin +1 of
I add in Doomed Traveler
I add in Cartel Aristocrat
Manipulate the numbers so i can get 3 Cartel and 4 Doomed Traveler.
Sideboard
Orzhov Charm +2
Liliana is a removal spell. nothing more nothing less. 4 drop targeted mutilate. She is a tragic slip for 4 mana.

I like your ideas. I have altered my deck a lot to make it much faster. I would like to add Blood Artist also, but I don't know where to put him in my current configuration. Thanks for the advice.
June 2, 2013 8:29 p.m.
Well,
This is where it gets tricky. Because it becomes a matter of play style.
first you still have nothing drawing you cards sans Griselbrand . Drop the 2 Intangible Virtue and 1 Typhoid Rats for 3 Sign in Blood
Next you either drop Griselbrand or Obzedat, Ghost Council + 1 more Typhoid Rats for 3 Blood Artist . Which ever you prefer and the big nasty you pull out of the main board. Goes to the Sideboard. I suggest Obzedat, Ghost Council . As he is very good against control. Or since you pulled Exquisite Blood Just drop the Vizkopa Guildmage for 3 Blood Artist
Side board must is Crypt Incursion as a 3 of. Swap Nevermore for it. I know, I know. But your limiting yourself with Nevermore it is far to conditional. Crypt Incursion targets "creatures" not specific and is at instant speed and allows you to "in response to Unburial Rites remove everything. Reanimator, jacked by a 3 drop instant. GG.

I have made a lot of changes and I think it will run much better. I'm really only missing a few commons and uncommons, so hopefully I can buy them before this Friday and try the deck out at FNM. Thanks for all of the advice.

@Gop I have changed the description just for you.
@lithionlx Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have tried this new version out and it runs much quicker. You have been a ton of help. I think that I am going to keep Obzedat, Ghost Council in for now because he almost always wins games for me. I'll try out Maw of the Obzedat after I play with this deck a while longer first.
June 4, 2013 8:22 p.m.
I completely get why your stuck on Obzedat, Ghost Council . He simply wins games. Especially against control. What I believe that you are not aware of is that our decks became a "thing in standard" this week. Junk Aristocrats is now taken seriously and unfortunately your going to get told you net decked. Even though we are not running Junk Colors. Junk uses Maw of the Obzedat instead of Falkenrath Aristocrat when I say uses it. I mean that card gets there harder than Obzedat could ever hope to do so. So do give it a try.
Junk Aristocrats

My Deck
Also Some Sideboard changes:Drop Sundering Growth and Nevermore +1 Oblivion Ring +2 Unburial Rites
Reasons: First O-Ring hits everything Sundering and Nevermore do. Pitching an unburial rites (or your opponent doing it for you) is never a bad thing. hint hint, nudge. nudge.

I like the sideboard changes. I will give Maw of the Obzedat a try and if it works, I'll switch it out. I played a deck last Friday that was exactly like the one you just posted and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, I do not have the money to change to three colors, so I'm going to stick with orzhov and twist my deck a bit more until I get it just right.
June 4, 2013 9:30 p.m.
Ohh trust me man. Switching to three colors cost me some serious chedder. I playtested the deck with borrowed cards before I ever dropped a dime though, I'm sorta miffed that this design has become a thing. I'm headed to the miami GP in less than a month and now its apart of meta so people will expect to see it. I have lost my element of surprise. I am thinking about dropping Boros Reckoner for Skirsdag High Priest though. It will lower my curve a little and I can easily make the 5/5's all day long.
June 4, 2013 10:28 p.m.
dentalflosstycoon says... #25
I think the Skirsdag High Priest is a great idea. I was also considering him for this deck as well. I haven't seen too many decks using him, so he should be pretty surprising. With all of your tokens and low cost creatures, you'll have plenty of 5/5's.
dentalflosstycoon says... #1
Yes, this is true, which is why I have Griselbrand and Vampire Nighthawk and most parts of the deck contribute to life gain so that I can last longer. So while the combo is not exactly UNSTOPPABLE, it is very good and I have removal to hold the opponent off as well.
