This is where my list is going: Dega Divine (Post Rotation). I started with Desecration Demon , but gradually moved away from him. He looks really good on paper, but after play testing and doing this week's FNM (without demon; didn't have him) I felt it was unnecessary, and there wasn't a point where I was hoping to draw one. I ended up 6-0-2 with the draws being intentional and I won the games we played for fun.

Anger of the Gods kills RDW decks. I know that there is the red god, and I will be adding enchantment removal to the sideboard, but other than that, my deck usually kills aggro.

I still really like the demon, and I'm going to keep mine, but your deck looks really solid, too. The demon is just great for controlling the amount of their creatures, and if not, destroy in three turns.

I'm not saying to cut him, just that the deck runs fine without him, he's good at baiting their hard removal before the actual hard to remove creatures come out. He's also fantastic with Whip of Erebos , forcing them to sac a creature to give you CA or giving at least a 6 point life swing.

If i were to cut the 8 combo cards from my deck i'd probably put in Anger of The Gods and Desecration Demon. Boros Reckoner is also AMAZING against aggro decks.

And Coon, It seems as if the Chained TTR only actually works about half the time. You just dont have enough mountains. Mizzium mortars and Warleader's Helix are other really good forms of removal.

This is the actual URL to my list Arcaneassassin: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/dega-divine-post-rotation/. But CttR is good as long as you have 10+ mountains, you want your removal to be diverse and hit different things with a good amount of overlap. Also CttR can be used later game, it's not always a T1/2 play, in fact, it's useful to hit opposing Desecration Demon s and any other large creature and still have open mana.

True, true frozen fox. And Coon your only way to deal with blood baron is The high priest. I highly recommend Mizzium Mortars.

Is it actually the High Priest targetting the Blood Baron? Or is it you? Because it says "YOU may destroy target nonland permanent."
