You have lightning, lands that come to life and magic scepters that can keep your magic flowing! Oh, and deathclaws of course.

This decks four colors and control core make it seem complex but it's more intuitive than it appears. You use Remand, Counterspell, and Silence to shut down your opponent's moves, then use cards like Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix to pick off creatures. Stall until you can drop Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel for the infinite combo or use Tarmogoyf(s) to beat them down. Plus Snapcaster Mage can be re-activated by either Restoration Angel or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker turning your graveyard into a second hand later on. Isochron Scepter can be devastating, either by imprinting a lightning spell or counter spells to create different threats or the cruel Isochron Scepter + Silence combo that will lock your opponent out of their turns. Samut, the Tested functions as added utility in the form of improved combat damage with the +1, targeted removal with the -2 and with the -7; an instant win by pulling out both combo pieces all fitting the flow of this deck perfectly. The sideboard has some answers that can tailor the deck for specific threats and the maybeboard has cards that can vary the build or alternative sideboard cards.
