Went 3-0-1. Made 2nd place of the night. Only didn't get first cause the guy in first had a 10% margin on me. I was very pleased with how the deck played.

Match 1: VS. Gruul Aggro: 2-1. Game 1 was pretty standard. He started with a stormkirk noble and a Rakdos Cackler unleashed. I had some removal, but not enough. He was beating the crap out of me. I finally landed a Crypt Ghastfoil. He brought me down to 1 life. Following turn I debt to deathless for 16. That was pretty much game after that. I went up to pretty much start, and he dropped like all the way. Game 2. I had a decent hand. Only 2 lands, but a kill spell, Vampire Nighthawk and Lingering Souls with a white source so I kept it. I didn't hit my third land drop. Needless to say he one without much fight from me. Game 3. I had a nice hand. Went back fourth. He filled the field. I used Mutilate. I dropped ghast. Next turn I dropped Griselbrand. Then I finished him off with Debt to the Deathless. Wasn't a hard match-up for me.

Match 2: VS. B/W beatdown? 2-0 I'm not exactly sure how to classify the deck. He ran Silverblade Paladin with Sublime Archangel and Restoration Angel and Lingering Souls. Game 1 was a slow start. Went back and forth alot. I didn't have enough removal. He had a Restoration Angel a sublime and a silverblade paired to the resto. Hit me for 14. I had obzedat, the ghost council doing work. Top decked the most clutch Entreat the Angels, survived his next attack. got some damage through. Then finished him off for a soft debt to the deathless. Game 2. He had a bunch of spirit tokens. I had a [[vampire nighthawk that was keeping him at bay. And enough removal that whenever he dropped a serious threat I just killed it. Eventually I was able to drop an obzedat. Which kept my life total from changing too much. I had to mutilate his field at least once, maybe twice. Obzedat was able to survive. Eventually got my Crypt Ghastfoil on the field and finished him off with a solid Debt to the Deathless.

Match 3: VS. Bant Hexproof: 2-0. It was actually against my friend who I went with. Both my starting hands were near perfect for against this sort of deck. Enough removal to last me all day. With some sort of win condition in hand. Or at least enough stall until I was able to pull the win condition. He had mana struggles both games, but he even agreed that it wouldn't have changed anything for him. I had responses for everything he could have dropped.

Match 4: VS. Jund Midrange i think. Force Draw. This is the guy who took first. When he saw that we were both 3-0 he just wanted to take the tie since we were guaranteed either 1st or 2nd. I was cool with that.

Top 4, the guy I was gonna play just wanted to split the prize, so he gave me the win. He was playing a Naya deck, which I have played similar I believe, and don't think would have been too much of a problem if I kept getting the draws I was getting. But I guess I will never know. Overall the deck played excellently. Exactly how it was supposed to. Keep the bored clear until I can set up and take control.
