There are more fetch lands than basic :/ you might want to take the fetch count down. It would suck to be out of basics in deck with fetch lands in hand

Then what do you suggest changing?

Narset Transcendent is cool and all, but I wouldn't run 3. It's +1 and -2 abilities are both useful, but only in specific situation - they don't really win games. Also, you have to spend 4 mana to cast Her during your turn.

Narset is probably more suited to a faster more Jeskai-style control deck. You should probably still have some in the deck, but maybe sideboarded or with fewer in the mainboard. With that space, you could play more card draw (Dragonlord's Prerogative) or removal (Silumgar's Command).

Ya, I was looking at Narset and I didn't really like running three, and I did want to play Dragonlord's Prerogative. Thanks for the suggestions.

You need at least one Pearl Lake Ancient on the sideboard.

Ya, I've been looking around at other decks, and I see it is very highly played in Control. So probably going to play it.

@TheHroth I messed up the deck and I need help fixing it.

Firstly, Ojutai's Command is good, but when I was testing with it, I wasn't pleased. I like that it makes for a hilarious counterspell against Siege Rhino, but often just isn't worth the mana cost. If you've been liking it, by all means keep it. This particular card is just personal preference.

To fix your mana, I'd take out the gain lands, and add the last set of scry lands (to have all 12), and a Radiant Fountain. I'm not entirely sure you have enough demand for mana to make the plains worth it, so I'd replace them with more islands/swamps.

The deck looks good! I like it.

I'd say -1 Narset, Transcendant and +1 Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Elspeth is the better wincon and I don't feel like you need more than one narset

@rochdalekilla9 I'm only using one Elspeth, Sun's Champion in the deck because she is about to rotate out of standard and Narset Transcendent is a utility walker, she ins't really a wincon. I have enough wincons in the deck.

i recommend Banishing Light over Ultimate Price cause it cant take out the dragon lords, whereas Banishing Light can

@exalted_k1d I'm not playing Banishing Light cause my Ugin will destroy it as soon as I play him, since I only run Ugin for the board wipes.

SIDEBOARD

Maybe consider Foul-Tongue Invocation for heroic and abzan aggro, Arashin Cleric or Nyx-Fleece Ram for red decks, Erase for G/W devotion (hits courser and mastery), Dragonlord Silumgar against ramp or midrange decks, Radiant Purge for abzan aggro also...

My quick observation seems to come to the conclusion that you're extremely prepared for the control matchup, maybe a bit too much.

Sideboards are meta dependent... Is there any build that dominates your meta? Or maybe there's always two persons playing the same deck over and over that you have a lot of chances to face everytime you go to FNM's?

Here's my build, feel free to get inspired! Card choices are explained in the desscription! Esper Dragons

Good luck and lets continue perfecting Soorani's list!
