Sideboard

Deck is basic control with powerful white removal - BUT - it plays very agro with the consistently unblock able Elusive Spellfist. Rebound becomes important to flipping Thing in the Ice  .

I've found that playing Aberrant Researcher   works really well to take care of flyers, but also to add some muscle that doesn't return to your hand when Thing in the Ice   flips.

This is a turn 5-6 finisher deck. Thing in the Ice   comes to the battlefield early with Elusive Spellfist. Every Anticipate takes ice counters from Thing in the Ice   while pumping the unblock able Spellfister. Artful Maneuver Spellfist once, then rebound next upkeep brings the opponents life total significantly down. At this point my life may be bleeding out, but if they can't get rid of Thing in the Ice  , it doesn't matter. He flips and then attacks to finish the game.

Thanks, come again.

SIDEBOARDDragons of Tarkir has some great removal/control spells that are color conditional. There's a play set of the white and blue spells: Surge of Righteousness and Encase in Ice . These can slow down an agro deck if it's particularly difficult to deal with.

Fate Forgotten is essential to keep my creatures free of Pacifism early on. It has also been useful in slowing down Artifact decks which are semi-popular for budget decks in Standard. Oh, and don't forget, it can take care of that annoying Cryptolith Rite.

Invasive Surgery is just a lower mana cost counter if playing someone with mostly sorcery non creature spells. Always play frugal.
