I'm here 4 years later, just trying to find a decklist to help with my monoblue EDH, and I read the entire lot of comments, wow it was a journey. Oh and i have Guile in my deck, but my commander is Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, so it kinda makes more sense.

This deck looks so slow and painful I love it.

So the comments on this thread are hysterical, although blunt and kind of harsh. Meh. A suggestion: what about Counterbalance + Sensei's Divining Top ? Counterbalance has proven very useful to me, even on a blind flip, because the most common cards in EDH are at the 2 CMC and 3 CMC clots. Based on your deck stats, it seems like you would be able to counter a bunch of spells for free by adding these cards to your list since your deck is built around the 2-3 CMC range. Further, they aren't bad cards by themselves and create a strong synergy together. I don't know how attached you are to Mind Stone, but perhaps that could be cut? I also suggest the Scatter to the Winds. Seems strictly better than Cancel.

I see you haven't replied or updated the deck in three years, so this may be pointless to comment, but I will just in case you see this and want to update it any!

Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is amazing. I would recommend switching her in for you commander. I see you have Kami of the Crescent Moon in as commander as well as in the deck, so maybe just remove him from commander and keep him in for the 99.

I don't have any advice on switching out Erayo, Soratami Ascendant, however, but that should happen too.

Really, all I suggest is Kira, because that totally adds to the counter theme. Hope you like that/see this!

I highly recommend Tunnel Vision to combo with your Hinder, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Vendilion Clique, or Spell Crumple
