Heavily evolved from Golgari Growth intro pack. Developed to focus on gaining counters, life-gain, creature protection and quick response cards. Especially strong during multiplayer matches as it uses multiple win conditions.

Corpsejack Menace used for counter interactions:

• Primordial Hydra
• Increasing Savagery flashback is a wonderful mechanic
• Forced Adaptation - good for early counter generation
• Scute Mob

+1 Counter Transfer & Preservation
Opponents wanting to remove counters are surprised when they are spontaneously shifted & doubled if Corpsejack Menace is present / or shifted onto Ageless Entity and makes a good excuse for lifegain

• Bioshift - if two creatures under my control this is good to conserve counters. Also good if Corpsejack Menace is around to double / in some circumstances can flash Ambush Viper to receive +1 counters
• Fate Transfer - used to transfer partial counters to any creature or transfer all counters to another player - "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Lifegain

• Dying Wish - great for protecting a large creature / also can sacrifice for a gain
• Predator's Rapport / Moment of Heroism - especially good on Primordial Hydra
• Sheltering Word - great creature protection

Creature & Player Protection

• Dying Wish & Murder Investigation - makes large creatures unappealing to target
• Whispersilk Cloak & Alpha Authority adding hexproof and shroud
• Witchbane Orb - very useful in multiplayer
• Lich's Mirror - everyone deserves a second chance
• Elixir of Immortality - general card recycling and mill protection / works well after Cultivate assisted ramp - considering adding 4x Cremate to improve deck efficiency & adding exile ability
• Ready / Willing - (sideboard) indestructible, surprise blockers, lifelink & deathtouch
• Alpha Authority - adding hexproof / can also be used on opponents creature to block buffs

Dangerous Creatures

• Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord - bouncing creature also can sacrifice another large creature to end the game
• Predator Ooze - worry free attacker & counter collector
• Ambush Viper - makes opponents wary after first time used...
• Lumberknot - takes advantage of other creatures dying during multiplayer. Works well with Gaze of Granite or Golgari Charm's 'All creatures get -1/-1" ability
• Hydra Omnivore - tempting target & great to add other utilities too
• Deadly Recluse & Silklash Spider - general flying protection

General Utility

• Naturalize / Murder / Golgari Charm - very useful in multiplayer
• Blinding Beam - locking down creatures for a turn

Special Lands & Ramp

• Cultivate - as the deck is larger than usual, Cultivate assists in drawing out additional lands to improve efficiency
• Scoured Barrens / Golgari Guildgate / Isolated Chapel assists in the white splash required
