You could put in some copies of Champion of Lambholt

Personally I prefer card:Tezzeret's Gambit over Steady Progress . also, you may want to consider Contagion Engine for some fun double proliferation.

i like bond Beetle you dont really have a early game creature. and forgotten ancient i highly suggest it would work better than cytoplast root-kin.

Cytoplast Manipulator to steal all your opponent's creatures.

Novijen Sages should draw you a whole lot of cards

Llanowar Reborn gives you another +1/+1

nemesis101 i thought about Contagion Engine but i cant run 6 cards with 6+ CMC with no mana ramp, card:Tezzeret's Gambit is worth the price.

hunter9000 ill run Llanowar Reborn but i dont see how i could steal creatures with Cytoplast Manipulator if the only card that could puts counters on opponents creatures is Experiment Kraj and im only running 2 of them. i like the idea though i might look for cards to add counters to opponents creatures. for some added 'lol' factor

thanks guys!

Graft lets you put a +1/+1 on any creature when it enters, not just your own.

Corpsejack Menace could be best in graft decks...

as much as Corpsejack Menace would aid the deck, im not sure how i would work a splash of black into this deck yet, ill look into what black has to offer, but no black creatures have grafting, and thats a key point to this deck

Predator Ooze ?? it's a great addition too

October 11, 2012 4:39 p.m.

DaBears says... #13

now that is a card i could use and abuse in this deck. i just have to open some space for it

October 11, 2012 5:21 p.m.

UNless you throw in Cytospawn Shambler or Rancor , I wouldn't put Predator Ooze in here. I like the deck the way it is. If you need some ideas check out my own Proliferate/Graft deck, deck:grafting-powerhouses

I'd also highly suggesting Evolution Vat

Evolution Vat is insane!! especially if mixed with something like Primordial Hydra things would get insane with this type of carnage, many thanks UmbrotheUmbreon

No problem :) One last recommendation. Lorescale Coatl . Work that card into the deck, then replace Steady Progress with card:Tezzeret's Gambit.

October 11, 2012 8:23 p.m.

Also, you need some Hinterland Harbor s in there

October 11, 2012 8:25 p.m.

DaBears says... #19

i think im going to replace Steady Progress with card:Tezzeret's Gambit regardless if i add the Coatl, (although that card could get very powerful especially when a Favor of the Overbeing is thrown down on it).. but drawing an extra card is definitely worth a possible 2 life or 1 blue mana.

Hinterland Harbor would be excellent, ill try to work out the right mana mix for that with some experimentation with what i have.

October 11, 2012 8:38 p.m.

Your best bet for mana fixing would be 4x Hinterland Harbor s, 4x of the Simic shocklands (can't think of name at this time), and then your other lands.

If you try to play Simic Growth Chamber turn one it bounces itself back to your hand...

October 11, 2012 9:31 p.m.

Sagi007 says... #22

how can you play Simic Growth Chamber on turn one when it enters you return a land to hand and since its the only one its the simic you just played.

October 12, 2012 5:11 a.m.

DaBears says... #23

see now thats why playing casual sucks, nobody i play with knew that. we just assumed it didnt affect anything because there were no lands out, minor set back. thanks RJNeuen and Sagi007 for correcting that!

To be honest, if you are running a graft deck Cytoplast Root-Kin should be definitely in here. It not only adds a counter to your creatures with them already, but also comes into play with four itself. Then, if a creature becomes a target for a kill spell or bounce spell, you can move the counters from it to the Root-Kin to beef him up more.

i was going to put the Root-kin into it but i feel Forgotten Ancient gets me more bang for my buck. true i cannot bounce around my counters like with the Rootkin, but getting a +1+1 counter every time a spell is cast gives me at least 2 a turn per person usually, which i always redistribute among my creatures. yes it doesnt help stop kill spells like Murder or Doom Blade . but usually anything worth killing i give hexproof to from my Plaxcaster Frogling so id say 80% of the time i wouldnt need the Rootkin's ability. although i do have 3 of them sideboarded in case my friends decide to run killspell heavy decks, for the same reasons you stated.
