This is a draft of a +1/+1 counter/proliferation deck I've been wanting to build for a while. The idea is to have creatures sort of "grow," if you will. Definitely a budget deck.

• Experiment One obviously better to have it early-on. Nice regeneration ability.
• Cloudfin Raptor is a nice 1-drop flyer than be evolved easily.
• Endless One can be any size I want and conveniently comes into the battlefield with counters already on it.
• Managorger Hydra has some quick, consistent growth.
• Strangleroot Geist is a cheap, annoying bugger for the opponent.
• Fangren Firstborn can produce a good amount of counters, plus they apply before combat damage is dealt.
• Llanowar Elves adds a bit of speed with mana production.
• Thrummingbird with some regular proliferation.
• Tezzeret's Gambit with proliferation and card draw.
• Fungal Behemoth can easily become huge.
• Solidarity of Heroes because doubling counters at instant speed.
• Hardened Scales because extra counters.

Ideal First Five Turns (Swing for 55!)

Turn 1

• Forest, cast Hardened Scales.

Turn 2

• Island, cast Cloudfin Raptor, then cast Experiment One. Cloudfin evolves and gets two counters.

Turn 3

• Forest, cast Fungal Behemoth for its minimum suspend cost.

Turn 4

• At upkeep, remove the time counter from Behemoth, put two counters on Experiment One.
• Behemoth enters the battlefield as a 4/4. Cloudfin and Experiment each evolve and receive two counters. Behemoth becomes an 8/8.
• Forest, cast Fangren Firstborn .

Turn 5

• Island, cast Endless One for five mana. It enters with six counters. Cloudfin and Experiment each evolve and receive two counters. Behemoth is now an 18/18.
• Attack with everything except Endless One. Each attacking creature gets two counters because of Fangren Firstborn .

Cloudfin Raptor is an 8/9.

Experiment One is a 9/9.

Fangren Firstborn is a 6/4.

Fungal Behemoth is a 32/32 (Eight counters were added when attackers were declared, two of which are on the Behemoth itself).

Swing for 55.
