Illicit Auction + Ink-Treader Nephilim = edh game over. It is rather fun if you like to see the table in chaos.

People looked at me funny at work when I literally started laughing at how this deck is played. Very well done. I tip my hat to you, sir. +1

You, sir, are a hero. Just started experimenting with Inky a few weeks ago and I'm seriously loving your list because it seems to have what mine is missing. I'm not going for infinite combo myself but screwing the table over with Psychosis Crawler and inking it up with Chasm Skulker is inspired. +1

Not legal! Most groups are okay with him though.
Thanks m8! It's not every day that you literally get to cast infinite spells! :)

Twisted Image seems like it'd be better than Inside Out. All I really got. Decklist is really solid.

Its hard to go wrong with inky. Pick the combos youwant and do good stuff to get them

Unfortunately, some of your combos tie the game rather than win.
"421.4. If the loop contains only mandatory actions, the game ends in a draw."
Since Dovescape and Guile are both mandatory, the game draws: I'd recommend removing the combo (by removing Dovescape) or never-ever, ever-never never using it without an out on the field (e.g. Vexing Shusher and the proper amount of green/red mana)

Guile: "you may play that card without paying its mana cost"
Not mandatory :)
The combo requires that you target Ink-Treader Nephilim with the countered spells to create more spell casts anyways, so even if Guile's text did not include "may", there would be no mandatory infinite spell loop. Moreover, there is Eye of the Storm, Vexing Shusher, and Nivmagus Elemental to stop anything from getting out of control.

Ok. I misread Guile and apologize for being incorrect. The issue in my reading was I saw the first part of the effect (exile the spell) was mandatory, but not that the casting was optional.
Can you ever forgive me?

I was looking at your deck because I myself was making an Ink treader edh, which I just made public.I been going through the five nephilim and building around them. Ink treader is my third after Witch-Maw Nephilim and Dune-Brood Nephilim: if you'd be willing to have a look at those and help me out in the comments, I'd appreciate you greatly.

What about Monastery Swiftspear for prowess triggers?

ya but good thought, as he eats spells for breakfast and can get huge very quickly

Prowess is ... meh. I tried running Jeskai Ascendancy for the value, but it is only off of each "real" spell that it triggers, so it ends up making it difficult to consistently make game winning value. But, if the deck is changed to build around it, it can be very powerful.
Also tested in here was Soulfire Grand Master, with middling results. It was very powerful, but the spells that I run are very replaceable (any one of them will do, and no one of them is really worth saving over any other -- especially with draw power)

Oh right, the triggers only happen on "real" spells.

That isn't to say that things wouldn't get super huge when the counter-copy combo goes off, but with infinite birds... who needs ONE huge guy?
I would probably need to run a lot of prowess dudes -- and this would limit me to Jeskai, essentially. But, still, worth pondering

Ink-Treader Nephilim isn't a legal commander as it's not a legendary creature.
