And redundancy is always good -- Zada has the distinct advantage of "whenever you cast" -- meaning I don't have to dance around to prevent mass exile or mass murder.

Sigil Blessing could also be good if you didn't draw Dovescape.

If sometimes you don't have Inky, perhaps a Radiate can stand in?

Thats a pretty sweet backup, I like it. Will add to maybe because it seems like it would be very expensive for a one off effect -- all the same, could save your life if you get swept at the wrong time.

Important bit for Dack Fayden: He's not Willbreaker. At least I'm pretty sure that he's not. While He'll work with the infinite super fun-time casting stormgasm (have you considered our lord and master Mind's Desire?) Ink-trader doesn't re-cast the spells you target him with, he applies copies of them to each other creature.I'm 90% sure that Willbreaker doesn't care about this technicality, but seeing as Dack says "Cast" in his emblem, he definitely cares.
That said, Dack's awesome. we loves Dack, we loves him so. NO! WE HATES DACK FOR HIS INADEQUACIES!

As an aside from rules chat that isn't in the deck and barely matters anyway. To those who are looking to play strats with ink trader that are basically unique to the General, Might I suggest slipping in an Arcane spell or two? Ever wanted to cultivate once for every creature on the field for 4 mana? Kodama's Reach and any of the (admittably lackluster) 1 cost splice cards that target creatures. bonus points if you manage to pull it off for three mana."Now Shamen, that's an obscene number of basic lands that isn't really fitting to pull up in a 4 color deck"Yes, yes, it's more of a proof of concept than anything. Look for arcane spells that you wish you could cast a billion times for nothing but showing off a card in your hand, don't worry, they're out there.

??? Nothing ???
Let's walk through it again.
Let's say that there are X creatures on the field, not including Ink-Treader Nephilim, which is also on the field. Included amongst the X is Guile. Also, in play, there is Dovescape. This is just a modified version of Dovescape + Guile, which is already a well known combo.
Cast Cerulean Wisps (or something), targeting Ink-Treader Nephilim. This triggers Ink-Treader Nephilim's ability and Dovescape's ability. The result is X (uncountered) copies of the spell, targetting each creature, and one Bird token. The original spell is then exiled by Guile, as it was just countered by Dovescape. This process may be repeated as many times as desired.
