Sideboard

Deprive your opponent of resources while maintaining your own. Flagstones of Trokair is marvelous here, especially when paired with Crack the Earth and Smallpox. Boom//Bust can target your fetchlands or your flagstones, leaving you a land ahead of your opponent for 1R. Young Pyro, Waste Not, and Lingering Souls give you board advantage as well as placing threats on the table.

Also, you will never forget the first time you cast Smallpox with Urborg and Flagstones on the table and a Bloodghast in hand.

No matter how much I enjoyed Waste Not when it went off, I've removed it in favor of something that can operate alone. The enchantment just felt clunky and I hardly triggered it as much as I wanted.

I've changed the list to reflect what I own at the moment, which means moving Thoughtseize around, mostly, and adding in the kolaghan's command. The more I test the deck the more I like the opportunity to grab something back from the graveyard, in this case Young Pyromancer. Besides, its other modes seem relevant as well.

Illness in the Ranks has been removed from the side, as with 8 token generators it would hurt me as much as help me, if not more so. Instead I chose to use Blind Obedience as Twin hate, and this also has the potentially added benefit of making any new elves etb tapped to (hopefully) slow down CoCo elves a little bit.

As always, thoughts and opinions welcome :)
