When I saw Narset, Enlightened Master, I wanted to make a deck with her so, I switched my old izzet deck into a Jeskai(America/R/U/W) Control deck. Since I cannot stand to play straight control, I splashed in burn for an extra bump for victory. So, without further ado, let's get into card explanations!

                                     Creatures

{2}{U}

3 mana for a pretty powerful enhantment. I don't use her for damage, mainly, her abilities. I get to scry 1 each upkeep, which provides better/efficient draws, and I can give my creatures unblockable for 2 mana per target.

{3}{U}{R}

By far on of the top cards in this deck, every upkeep, I either get an extra draw, or a lightning strike for free. I do swing with him as a creature when possible. {Contains Synergy with Thassa, God of the Sea}

{3}{W}{R}{U}

By far the strongest card in the deck. It doesn't bring much to the table with damage, but the ability is ridiculous. {Contains Synergy with Thassa, God of the Sea}

                                     Instant

{1}{R}

This is a versatile card with plenty of use in this deck. I primarily use it on the end of opponents turns, best for burning small creatures or player directly. The Scry is essential for use with Keranos, God of Storms and Narset, Enlightened Master.

{2}{R}

Generic burn spell, good for killing creatures and people alike.

{2}{R}{R}

Large burn spell, good for killing large creatures that pose a threat.(i.e.- Stormbreath Dragon, Courser of Kruphix, Anafenza, the Foremost)

{6}{U}{U}

Instant speed draw power with delve, a strong card, allowing you to get that one card you need. Good late game when it comes down to a cast cost of just {U}{U}

{R}{W}{U}

With all these fetchlands floating around, the good ole azorious charm of placing a creature on top of a library makes for a silly thing, watch the face as they realize they are losing a win-con. Or I can give all my creatures Lifelink, which with my painlands, can be useful. Also makes for a hefty Mizzium Mortars to the face. Very versatile, highly recommended

                                     Enchanment

{2}{W}

versatile exile card, not much to it.

                                     Planeswalker

{4}{W}{W}

She is her own win con, flooding the board with 1/1 Soldiers, or a large creature board wipe. Running a few of her for assurance of drawing her.

{3}{R}{R}

Mostly used for the +1 indestructable Stormbreath Dragon minus the pro-white. And, situationaly the Mizzium Mortars to a creature. I'm not a huge fan of his ultimate, I don't like discarding my whole hand while playing a control deck.

                                     Land

Pretty self-explanatory as far as it comes to lands. Still working on deck, so the variety of my lands will fluctuate sometimes.

                                     Sideboard

{1}{U}

Great counter spell for the large creatures/spells late game for low mana cost

{1}{W}

Best blocker in white in standard, and helps slow down aggro decks until you draw an answer.

{1}{W}

Used for exiling the large blockers/threats like Courser of Kruphix.

{3}{W}{W}

Board wipe, blowey-uppey everything. useful against aggro/ mid-range decks.

{1}{U}{U}

for the decks where burn won't win, counter spells are needed, makes for a great sideboard card.

                                 Maybeboard

{1}{R}{R}

After my playtesting, I found that a burn spell that gets through the hexproof sylan caryatid and the mono-white weenie decks, and the mono-red goblin rabblemater based decks. STill unsure about if i want it main or sideboard

2UU

The reason I would consider him is, after all my playtests, i feel like even with the scrying, i either get flooded or mana-starved. there is almost never a fine balance between the two(may be due to my shuffling though(and the sleeves)). SO I Wanted to implement him to help sort through what I have and fuel my Dig Through Time.

{W}{R}{U}

Not used too much for the {untap} creatures. I use it early game for the Faithless Looting on a stick. Other than that, in play-tests, it was kind of a terrible 3 drop for a control deck, I moved it over to maybe-board and replaced it with Jeskai Charm which is so much better than this card in terms of usefulness towards my deck.

{X}{U}{R}

Syncopate + Blaze to the player. I'm not running too many of these because during my playtests, i found it's a lack luster card. Albeit situational and beneficial.

{2}{W}

I use this card for saving myself from a bit of damage, or those big threats you have trouble dealing with and don't want to use an enchantment on. But, similar to Mindswipe, very situational, removed from the deck for now.

{1}{U}

I am thinking of running a singleton of thiscard, so people won't see it coming, and i'll be able to counter that Elspeth, Sun's Champion after playing my narset.

Today was my deck's first show in tourney, and, overall, it did what I expected it to do. I burned all the creatures, exiled everything that couldn't be burned, and smacked the in the face with the gods/planeswalkers.

I wont go into detail about my matches, tired at the moment, but i will state the match-ups.

Game 1: Boros Tempo, using Monastery Swiftspear and Seeker of the Way combined with pump spells.

Game 2: Rabble-red, standard red deck with Goblin Rabblemaster and Foundry Street Denizen.

Game 3: Mono-white Lifegain, pretty standard white, Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Ajani's Pridemate with a bunch of lifegain triggers.(My only Loss for the night. Mana was not in my favor)

Game 4: G/B/? I didn't get to face them, as they bailed last second, I was very confident I would win regardless, but it never game through, i only know a few colors of the deck as I watched a glimpse of a round of his as I was waiting for the next match.

I took in 1st place, with a 3-1 record. Deck performed very well, almost no problems, highly efficient.
