OrdinaryButter Thanks for the comment, I thought about it, and Zegana would be great in here, and I upped the amount of Cyclonic Rift in the Mainboard, and added Simic Charms to the Main and Sideboad, and IDK why i didn't have 3 Nykthos in here. As for the Vorel + Kiora's Follower, I feel like that would just be a Win More combo, and that it's not really needed. Thanks for the comment, and what do you think about the deck now?

Do you really like Ordeal of Thassa ? Cause i think you would benefit by having more of other cards, in my opinion. Have you thought about Thassa, God of the Sea ? It would certainly help this deck be more efficient.
I can imagine you having very little trouble at an FNM. I really like the way this works. Master Biomancer is the best simic card ever printed. He can completely turn a game

OrdinaryButter I really do like Ordeal of Thassa , early game it can buff up a Nightveil or a Biomancer and after a few turns, draw me cards. Mid to late game it's basically a 2 drop to draw 2 cards. But i've only done playtests right here on tappedout since JOU hasn't come out yet, so maybe i'll take it out after actual testing. And no, i had not thought about Thassa, I switched out the Judge's Familiar s for her, since they don't seem to be doing much good right now anyways. I agree, Master Biomancer is amazing, he's probably my favorite card.

That looks alot better. My final suggestion would be to move Courser of Kruphix into your main board. I can't see anything off the top of my head that you could take out, but having the possibility to clear your draw of land will make this slower deck much more efficient

I'll have to do some testing to decide for sure, but looking at the deck now i'm thinking that Ordeal of Thassa is the only card that could switch with Courser, even though i really like it.

Just try everything out both ways and see what you like. These are just suggestions. In the end, it's still your deck

I actually think that with this much card draw, you should stick with 2x Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx . If I were you, I would remove Zameck Guildmage and Ordeal of Thassa for another Dictate of Kruphix and 4x Kiora's Follower . Otherwise, the deck looks good, although you might want some one drops like Elvish Mystic or Cloudfin Raptor . +1 from me, and if you want you can have a look at my JOU deck, Nyx's Twinkle - A New Style of Devotion.
April 16, 2014 5:48 p.m.
I would take out Zameck Guildmage and put in Hydra Broodmaster to the main. Also I would take out Nightveil Specter , as that card does not really fit your deck (more of an esper or b/w sort of card). Other than that check out my deck that is similar: Latest Prophecy: Your Loss
Also +1 :)

maybe put in more Ordeal of Thassa because it synergerizes well with Master Biomancer and can also make Nightveil Specter a huge board threat you could also put a Sage of Hours into sideboard or main deck because you are putting out a lot of 1/1 counters so he could possibly give an extra turn or two
April 16, 2014 5:56 p.m.
ProfessorDucky I think 4 Kiora's Follower would be a bit too much, as it's main purpose would be to just untap Nykthos, and a little bit of ramp, so i'll put in 2 for now, and see how it does. I did have some Judge's Familiar s for the 1 drop, but after some play testing, i decided they weren't really doing much and I took them out.
Jka4567 I need Nightveil Specter as he is the main source of my Devotion for Master of Waves and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Hydra Broodmaster would be cool in here, but I don't think i really need it.
Youngpadowan That's the main reason i had the Ordeal of Thassa s in here, and i would like to have them in here, but the way i see it, i can either have the 2 Ordeals, 2 Kiora's Follower , or 2 Courser of Kruphix , which do you think would be best?

I would keep the ordeals, you have enough mana ramp as is and the ordeal does great things with your deck an full ordeal on Master Biomancer and then Master of Waves I would hate to be on the receiving end of that. Also playtest the Sage and tell me how it does I am interested in how your deck works out :)

Kiora's Follower is mad that you would even consider Sylvan Caryatid in a blue devotion deck with 3x Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx .
April 17, 2014 1:18 a.m.
Electromancer Lol. The reason i'm running 3 Caryatids and 1 Follower is because the Caryatids can also help with casting cards I get form Nightveil. I am considering adding more Followers though, that or taking out a Nykthos, not sure yet.
April 17, 2014 2:03 a.m.
I don't really like Mana Confluence , i think it will hurt me more than it will help me. I like using the Caryatid because it's ramp, and if needed it can help me cast spells from Nightveil. But if I took the Caryatids out and added Mana Confluence and more Followers, then I would be losing a life each turn for each Confluence I have (plus the shock lands that might have hurt me), and since there's no life gain in the deck I just don't think it's worth it just to get a chance of untapping Nykthos with a Follower to get some extra mana.
April 17, 2014 3:38 a.m.
That being said though, I do want to add another Follower or two (while keeping 2-3 Caryatids), i'm just not sure what to take out yet.

You certainly need some 1 drops, I'd suggest Cloudfin Raptor or even Experiment One , Elvish Mystic is not likely needed as you don't have much to power in 3 drops so you're shooting for a 4 drop turn 3
April 20, 2014 3:44 a.m.
TheEbonPlague I did have some Judge's Familiar in my original build, but I ended up taking it out after some testing. What would you suggest taking out for some 1 drops?
April 20, 2014 3:56 p.m.
deck is insanely consistent playtested two match's with my mono-green rush. I would suggest taking out kruphix, and ordeal, also nykthos and replace it with mana confluence, and possibly adding nylea for trample.
April 22, 2014 6:13 p.m.
Bobby.D Lol, thanks. I agree about Kruphix, I feel like she's really not that great for this build, but the no hand limit helps a lot if I drop a late game Zegana. Once JOU comes out and I get to test the deck out in person i'll decide whether she's worth keeping or not. I like Nykthos because it's a Devotion deck, so i'm keeping it in, and Kiora's Follower makes it insane. I've considered adding Mana Confluence, but I don't have any life gain, so I don't think it's worth it. Nylea could be added if I take out Kruphix.

I've been playing a lot of control decks lately, and since all the ones I've played against use Elspeth, Sun's Champion , Celestial Flare , and will probably start using Reprisal , Mistcutter Hydra doesn't help that much anymore. What are some other good Sideboard cards that I could use against Control decks?
April 30, 2014 3:45 a.m.
The problem with bouncing your Master of Waves with Simic Charm is that all of your tokens would die unless you had two Masters or they had been Biomancer'd previously. Otherwise, it looks a very nice deck - I rarely ever see Simic decks or even think of Simic decks, G/U just seems like a weird combination to me, yet your deck pulls it off quite nicely.
OrdinaryButter says... #2
I think Prime Speaker Zegana would mesh really well in this deck. It'll get you out a massive creature and fill your hand. I'd go 4 on cyclonic rift since it's your only real protection card. With that in mind, I'd put in some Simic Charm as they are amazing for both attack and defense.
Kiora's Follower + Vorel of the Hull Clade can be a ridiculous combination and i think deserves a spot in the deck.
I'd get in 1 or 2 more Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as well
I really like the way this looks overall though. Sorry you can't get much help. That seems to be how it goes.
Hope these helped
