asuka220 Thanks :) I usually do pretty good when I play the deck, and even the games I do lose, they were usually really close games. Control is my biggest problem right now though, which is a big portion of the current Meta.

Wow I find this deck upmost badass, but you don't seems to have trample in there. As a fix, and due to the massive amounts of devotion I see, Nylea, God of the Hunt is for you. For later game sure-fire kill, Bow of Nylea offers great ability and bonus destruction!

My deck Blue Deck Wins (Master of Waves) is a lot cheaper. Does this deck have any way to prevent Master of Waves from dieing?

Asher18 A lack of trample doesn't seem to be a problem for me. The goal is to over whelm my opponent with Elemental tokens, and even if I can't, I can make creatures unblockable with Thassa. Also If I overload a Cyclonic Rift, trample wont make a difference. I have considered adding her though, but I don't think she'll find a place.
Brickamator In the Mainboard there is no way to prevent any of my creatures from dying, but with the help of Master Biomancer, or sometimes Zameck Guildmage, the tokens will come into play with +1/+1 counters, so even if they kill Master of Waves, the tokens will stay alive. I do have Dispel and Simic Charm in the Sideboard, for decks that have a lot of kill spells though.
Thanks for looking :)

First off, this deck seems to have too much green in it's early game to really run Master of Waves effectively, and most of the guys are a little too small for a green devotion setup. I'd say try choosing one or the other color to focus on. I've got lists for Simic, with both sides of the devotion setup. I personally go mainly Green myself, but the Blue devotion still has a lot of potential, and it's something I wanna try running one day. Feel free to check out either, maybe get some ideas for your own.
Blue Devotion: Creeps from the Deep
Green Devotion: Laws of the Wild

hellbringer96 You think? All but 5 permanents have U in their cost. I've been playing this deck on Cockatrice a lot lately, and I consistently do this: T2 Kiora's follower, T3 Master Biomancer, T4 Master of Waves, getting 3 tokens. Turn 4 I'm getting at least 3 4/3 tokens, plus a 4/3 Master of Waves, which IMO is better than getting 6 tokens on turn 4 because if you kill the Master of Waves, the tokens wont die, and they're big enough to survive, or at least trade with most attackers on turn 4. And that's if I play my Master of Waves ASAP, usually i'll also play a Nightveil Specter, and some other blue cards to get a lot more devotion first, then play Master of Waves.

i'd suggest Progenitor Mimic before anyone calls me crazy think of this...ramp for the mimic after playing Master of Waves use Progenitor Mimic to copy Master of Waves then every one of your upkeeps, you get another Master of Waves and then you can just go crazy with it.

I can second that easily; that's two master of waves in two turns, turning a 1/0 into a 3/2 just for having devotion...

Progenitor Mimic is awesome and all, but I feel like it's more of a win more card, and it's not really needed.

Love the deck, but I think I would just take out Courser of Kruphix altogether and go up to 4 of Sylvan Caryatid and 3 of Thassa, God of the Sea . Or maybe just 4 of Thassa. Don't get me wrong, courser is a great card, but since you're more focused on the blue, I think having that 1GG and the UUU cost of Nightveil Specter could mess with your curve a little, since they are both color-intensive three-drops. Not to mention that Thassa helps you dig through your deck just as well as courser, while playing much more nicely with your mana.
Just my thoughts, anyway.
+1 from me.

I'm probably going to replace Courser of Kruphix with Chasm Skulker once M15 gets released.

the cord of calling is a insta include in this deck and once standard shifts prognostic sphinx will be awsome

So in my deck Nature Itself I find Chasm Skulker does VERY well with Fathom Mage
Use Give / Take to place three counters on Fathom Mage then take all counters off of Chasm Skulker ... Six cards and two pumped creatures? I like it!!
Please take a look at my deck. I'd love some tips

I've been following this deck for a while now and I was wondering if cutting Chasm Skulker and adding Judge's Familiar and Dissolve made the deck more powerful. Do you have any plans for more changes that would allow this masterpiece reach perfection?
September 10, 2014 7:54 p.m.
Liaramancer While I do really love Chasm Skulker , I do think cutting him for Judge's Familiar and Dissolve made the deck strong, Skulker was usually a dead draw for me anyways, and the only time he would really go off was if I was going to win anyways. Unfortunately i'm losing a lot of key cards when Khans gets released, so i'll be saying goodbye to the deck :( or at least the deck as it now, and it doesn't look like Mono Blue is getting any love from Khans either.

MisterMayhem Well yeah, i wouldn't bounce Master of Waves unless the tokens would live, or all the tokens were already dead. I don't see very many UG decks either, but i've always like to play it.
