I'm not sure how I feel about the monuments. I feel like they're too slow for what you're going for. Maybe replace them with extra copies of Cast Out and Anointed Procession or add in a couple copies of Give No Ground

Possible sideboard card gideon's intervention is a home wrecker nothing like a 4 for 1 that keeps dead cards in a opponents hand.

puetypoo - Thanks for commenting. I think you may be right.
Atroxreaper - Thanks for the idea. Perhaps I should swap the monuments for a couple of Gideon's Intervention? :)

on Mythicspoiler.com, they just spoiled the Pride Sovereign
Pride Sovereign 2G Creature - Cat Pride Sovereign gets +1/+1 for each other Cat you control.
W, T, Exert Pride Sovereign: Create two 1/1 white Cat creature tokens with Lifelink. (An exerted creature won't untap during your next untap step.
2/2
Would be an amazing add if you didn't think you'd need the Metallic Mimic or another creature in the deck.

tru13 - if that cat is real, then I will find space for a full playset of it in this deck :) It would be amazing! There's also the Adorned Pouncer: 1W Creature - Cat, 1/1, Double Strike, Eternalize for 3WW.

It was spoiled as coming out in Hour of Devastation, this morning, 6-19-2017 on www.mythicspoiler.com. Has the artwork and everything.

Add Solemnity to your sideboard. Its a good switch for longtusk cub against decks that use +1/+1 or -1/-1 counters or other forms of counters on permanents.

I am going to make a variation of this deck, but I'm not using the Metallic Mimics or the Scrounging Bandars. Not using Fragmentize in the mainboard as well. Adding 1 Vizier of the Menagerie, 4 Pride Sovereign, and increasing Nature's Way, Heroic Intervention and Cast Out by 1 a piece. Adding 3 Solemnity and 4 Fragmentize to the Sideboard.
Just waiting on more cards to be spoiled. I plan on adding Sunpetal Grove as well when it releases in Ixalon.
June 20, 2017 11:36 p.m.
tru13 - I think they're all good changes if we're including the HOU cards. I'm just not going to be building any decks on unofficially spoiled cards, I will wait for them to be standard legal and available then there will be a significant update to this deck too :)
That Sunpetal Grove looks lovely as well but Ixalon is a ways away! Haha.

I'm glad to see the work you've put into this deck since my first visit. Nice job!
tru13, Solemnity will also nerf our own playset of Metallic Mimic. It will be a good sideboard option for white from this block (against Temur Energy and BG Snake at a minimum), but it may do more harm than good in this particular deck as we are also trying to use +1/+1 counters.
The Amonkhet cycling lands give us Scattered Groves in the appropriate colors; it doesn't necessarily help in the early game plan since it comes in tapped, but it adds value late in the game when you can cycle it away. I'm not recommending it since your deck is a great budget build, just mentioning it for all the visitors.
And as an honorable mention, Ajani Unyielding makes for a nice on-theme draw engine in this deck.

That's precisely why solemnity would be great sb. Most people wouldn't expect it in a deck using +1/+1 counters. You can side mimics out

djnewellmit and Atroxreaper - Thanks both, again, for helpful comments!
I like Solemnity for the sideboard, for sure. I'm still avoiding putt anything from HOU in the deck yet because it's not actually released yet but There will be a pretty major overhaul of this when it drops in 2-3 weeks! Pride Sovereign!!!
I also like the Scattered Groves. The cycling is great but I think you might be right about the ETB tapped slowing the deck a little too much. I think a lot of the power of this deck right now is the speed it can escalate so something that would stop that might not be great.
Ajani Unyielding is obviously amazing :) I do worry, like Nissa, Nature's Artisan before, it might be a bit slow though? I quite like the Vizier of the Menagerie even if it's twisting the flavour/theme a little bit.

From HOU, Pride Sovereign and Adorned Pouncer would add value to this deck. Cards that I would look to move to the sideboard include Cast Out, Fragmentize and Scrounging Bandarand I might drop 1 Anointed Procession (multiple copies do not seem to stack)

Murphy77: Multiple Anointed Procession do stack. See the Tapped out discussion here. Unfortunately Gatherer is down at the moment to verify the ruling. If you play a token effect with 2 Anointed Procession on your battlefield, the first Procession doubles the tokens, and the second Procession doubles the tokens again, leaving you with 4x the original number of tokens. 3 Processions would give you 8 (2x2x2) tokens.
Fragmentize can probably move to the sideboard, especially after the ban of Aetherworks Marvel. But (in my opinion) Cast Out is a solid main deck option with its ability to cycle. If it were my choice, I would swap Fragmentize to the sideboard and bring in either the Oath of Ajani or Nature's Way to the main.

4/18/2017 If you control two Anointed Processions, then the number of tokens created is four times the original number. If you control three, then the number of tokens created is eight times the original number, and so on.
I think Gatherer went down because we all were trying to check it lol

Anointed Procession is only compatible with Sacred Cat in this deck... waiting for the other Embalm cat with HOU?
July 2, 2017 12:27 a.m.
It works for Pride Sovereign and Regal Caracal as well when they produce 1/1 cat tokens. Not just the Sacred Cat and Adorned Pouncer.
July 2, 2017 2:38 a.m.
ACDAMAN, what tru13 says is correct. It's mostly there for the Regal Caracal. In some early playtesting you could drop one of those and end up with 8 lifelink tokens write rapidly.
The embalm and eternalize cats are a bonus and the upcoming Pride Sovereign should be even better.

Is there a way to untap Pride Sovereign using another creature or ability? Gaining a few cat tokens in a turn then manually untapping him the next turn could be fun

majin_shinsa Blessed Alliance could work (Just copying Atroxreaper because he didn't tag the things)
July 2, 2017 11:13 a.m.
Act of Heroism allows you to untap a creature, give it +2/+2 until end of turn and block an additional creature in combat.

Here is my current version of the deck I'm building.

I'm adding Appeal//Authority x4 once it is available to add to the deck list.

Can we get an HOD update? I'M m thinking of taking the deck for a spin on MTGO since it's only 14tix

I also stuck to non rotating cards. I started back up in Revolt so my knowledge of the rotating blocks is Eldrazi, a few zombies and non basic lands in a nutshell. In my RG Energy deck I use Blossoming Defense MB and swap for Heroic Intervention after the first game. When going wide you can't afford the tempo lost by a suns sweep.
