This deck was built in response to another friend's deck. Jakob Larson, now convinced by Omnath that monocolor works, decided he wanted to build Lim-Dûl Zombie tribal. I was overjoyed that he was going out of his way to do something out of the ordinary, so I decided to do the same. He built Zombies, so I only had one choice: Plants. Clearly some Thallid/Saproling tribal was in order. I particularly enjoyed how the spore counters mirrored the gameplay of the falling sun in Plants vs Zombies. This was actually built with Teneb, the Harvester at the helm because Ghave didn't exist yet. Imagine my surprise when the much anticipated Commander decks were spoiled, and the most perfect general I could have imagined was nestled within. Thanks for the early Christmas, Wizards! So, into the deck Crazy Ghave went, saucepan and all. The deck's focus changed a bit, it became a bit more stax-y, sacrificing my plants for fun and profit! Why would I kill my own lines of defense? BECAUSE I'M CRAAAAAAAZY!
