Hi, man this deck looks absolutely awesome. Have you tried it on any sort of FNM or tried adding Monastery Mentor ?

I don't think alter would fit in here. I want to play as many creatures as possible.
Monastery mentor is one of those cards that look great on paper but sometimes doesn't get the value you would expect. I do think he would work very well in here though. With half the deck non creature spells, you could make some insane damage with the enchantments and could possibly make some pretty big tokens.

Every single Impact Tremor link in your description goes to a deck...

Secure the Wastes seems much better than Rally the Ancestors in this deck, because rally the ancestors is only really good with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors. Secure the Wastes is usually just as good or even better with those cards and you also leave behind creatures that can attack. Also Ire Shaman does not seem very good in this deck. I would remove him and add more of other cards that you aren't playing 4 of.

jnmc2013 I have been thinking the same thing ever since my first update. I think I'll keep the rallys I have already and add more secure the wastes.

It might be useful to Sideboard Obelisk of Urd as a counter measure against Virulent Plague.
Obviously only if you care about keeping any tokens alive, which it doesn't seem that you need to.
Nice deck.

Also, have you thought about Outpost Siege naming Dragons for damage as Creatures leave?
Might be an even faster win.

This is incredibly similar to my Goblin Tremors deck, I might think about adding Purphoros, God of the Forge having looked at this. Your deck is well rounded and fast playing, I do have to agree with the Altar of the Brood add though, it adds another win condition in the event that you don't pull Impact Tremors or Purphoros, God of the Forge and handles the pesky control deck all day by keeping more of those counter spells out of there hand and into their graveyard.

Ok. I will try the Altar of the Brood. How many should I run?

I would advise against Altar. Milling doesn't do anything unless you completely mill your opponent. It has no effect until you win, and cards that don't affect the board are generally bad (like pure lifegain).

Altar of the Brood should be in your sideboard for control but do not maindeck it.
April 20, 2015 9:44 a.m.
I do agree that there needs to be another win con though. If I don't pull the impacts or Purphoros, the deck can fizzle out pretty fast
I feel like it's lacking just that one card that keeps it consistant, I just don't know what it is lol.

nice deck +1 I really like the idea. But there are a couple of suggestions I have.Altar of the Brood seems rather horrible in this deck. You can't completely mill your opponent with it in a reasonable number of turns and milling doesn't do anything if it's not your win con.Maybe add Outpost Siege or another Zurgo or Swiftspear in it's place.
Also, Rally the Ancestors doesn't seem that good with the number of tokens you have so maybe removing it for two more copies of Secure the Wastes would be better.
Another card that could replace Altar is Triplicate Spirits since you don't aim to attack with the tokens as much, and sorcery speed token producing spells such as Dragon Fodder or Hordeling Outburst are great with convoke. So maybe you could test it out.
Again, nice deck and sorry for the long post. :)

If altar isn't your think, Barrage of Expendables is another great idea, it's modern though, so if you're aiming to keep the deck standard, Outpost Siege is a great way to go. What you have here is a really competitive deck and you want as many ways to hit your opponent for quick damage as possible. I still see altar as a great sideboard at the very least, but even without using milling as a straight win con, it disables strategies and keeps opponents guessing at what's to come. Just avoid it for those pesky B/U delve decks.

Ok. I think this looks better with out altars in MB. I still need to find another win con. I have lots of little guy support, but only a few cards that really get to the win.

You could add something like Trumpet Blast or Dictate of Heliod as a finisher that synergises with tokens. Otherwise Elspeth, Sun's Champion is a win condition on its own as well.
April 20, 2015 2:53 p.m.
if you don't feel like keeping the tokens, you can use Blasting Station. Seismic Stomp and Falter are the same as Magmatic Chasm, so you could have a variety of names which is useful in some scenarios.

Descent of the Dragons could be a wincon. otherwise. War Flare/Trumpet Blast/Dictate of Heliod/Volcanic Rush are good finishers
April 21, 2015 11:29 a.m.
I've been testing Descent of the Dragons and every time I get that far along to actually use it, I've pretty much have the game under control already. It's a "win more" card.
I'm going to try out more lower cost buffs like War Flare and Trumpet Blast as I do think these will get me those few last points I've been falling short on.
I'm not used to red aggro decks like this so I don't know how many I should put in.
Are these a 2 of? 3 of? And what would be good to take out?
I like the Outpost Siege because in some situations I can choose the extra card option which is useful if I'm falling behind or going against board sweepers and control decks. I was thinking of adding a 3rd to the sideboard.
Volcanic Rush is a bit expensive but I think this will ultimately be the best one to use. 5 mana is just about the time that I'll have all the enchantments in place and a small build up of critters to maximize the attack.

Monastery Mentor seems like an actual F bomb in this

Dunno how it could be put in, but Altar of the Brood is fun for keeping your opponent off balance.
