Sry for another Comment, but how long can you use Raise the Alarm in Standard? Since its from a Duel Deck and not from a normal Set.

Majesticnyx I may have worded it wrong but the game I had all the govlins, when he had circle of flames out, I didn't have a rabblemaster in play. All the goblins were from fodder or outburst only. The other games that I did have rabblemaster, the govlins do have to attack. You can play a rabblemaster in your 2nd main phase, in which you already attacked so you don't trigger a token.

Syronosin I tried descent of dragons in earlier build, but I rarely saw 6 mana and if I did have 6 mana, I pretty much had the game won already. Descent is a "win more" card that isn't needed.

Opps, looks like I posted that combo in the wrong thread.

pidgeonThx for the reply. But dont get me wrong, i still just dont know whats the advantage of Rabblemaster? If you got him on the field, you have to attack every turn -> tokens will probably die.
Only good thing is that you'll get 1 Token each time you Attack, if the token you get from rabblemaster has Haste ( it does) do you have to attack with it in the same round it just got played seconds ago?
Sorry for so many questions, but the magic rules and cards are kinda hard to understand for a newbie :D

Majesticnyx As I understand it, the reason rabblemaster is in this deck is because if you have a Goblin Rabblemaster out then you get a token that has to attack each turn. The rabblemaster does not need to attack so by getting a token every turn, even if gets eaten by your opponent's creatures you still get the damage from Impact Tremors and/or Purphoros, God of the Forge. Furthermore, it's a really efficient creature that can take over a game by itself if left unchecked and unanswered. :)

Great deck. Love the Impact Tremors/Token effect. But lets say you didn't have Goblin Rabblemaster, what would you put it instead? +1

I'd probably mainboard 2 chained to the rocks and 2 stoke the flames if I didn't have rabblemaster. But I wouldn't want that to happen. Rabblemaster is to strong to take out.

I have a solution if you want to beat Circle of Flame put 1 or 2 Hall of Triumph in the sideboard.

Ahh, I wish I found this deck sooner, since a bit of it is going to be rotating out. Still, thank you so much for posting this! I'm going to model my newest deck after it.

I play a very similar deck. I don't know about you but I play 20 lands and I always flood out. How does your deck play in terms of draws?

I know I've posted my deck on here before, but I've made some changes since. Tell me if you like the idea of obelisks mainboard for a backup
Sorry about your face ( I burned it!) Playtest

I like Lightning Berserker better than Monastery Swiftspear because of their one mana dash them coming in and out with Impact Tremors out can do some pretty big damage. take a look at my deck. It's just a tad bit different. Get ready for impact (turn 5 win)

js3ng I tried the hammer and it doesn't do to bad. Haste plus when you put the 3/3 into play it triggers tremors and Purphoros. Not bad at all, it's one of the many cards that would fit in this deck.

19englishm looks good. I like how this deck has many interchangeable parts. You can change just a few cards and keep the integrity of the deck in tact, but change it enough to fit your likings. Hope you have fun with it.

Very solid deck, I love this direct damage idea and I'm glad its doing you well at FNM!
I took a look at the recent changes and noticed you didn't have Brimaz, King of Oreskos in any iterations of the deck. He can put up to two tokens on deck from one turn to the next if he's blocking and attacking, and might work well here as a sideboard or even mainboard option.
Anyways, +1 for realizing an awesome concept!

pidgeon, I made that deck from scratch before I looked at your deck

As said, crazy fast damage. Although the deck would be costly, it is really good. You might want to consider Electropotence, as it only costs .59 cents at Mox Boarding House, but you have to pay extra land, so I can see why it wouldn't fit.

I think a card like Zurgo Bellstriker might be great in this list because it is a 2/2 for 1, which is already good, and he can dash himself in, which can hit for big chunks of damage with Impact Tremors and Purphoros, God of the Forge out.
Also, you might want to consider splashing into Mardu, since Butcher of the Horde + Dragons Outpost Siege seems too good, and Crackling Doom takes out a shit ton of threats like Good Ojutai and Sower Silumgar.

I like the build...played against a similar one last week FNM.
My suggestions:
Take out just one Swiftspear for one Zurgo dasher. Or split them 2 and 2. Swiftspears are great for first 3 turns, but after that, you're not carrying too many spells to trigger an "effective" prowess...mid-game, she'll be trying to attack through 2/4s and 5/5s and such. With Zurgo, you can dash him, if the attack doesn't favor you, then don't attack with him, but you still do the incidental damage with the enchantment and the God.
I would also suggest taking out 2 Secure the Wastes...or maybe just one and then one Purphoros (bringing you down to 2 copies of the God), up to you, in favor of a more able-bodied token producer like Brimaz, King of Oreskos. Three copies of a God is risky, especially if one sticks and you have potentially 2 dead cards sitting in your hand. If Impact Tremors didn't exist, then I would say yes, throw 3 Gods in your deck. BUT, with four Tremors in your deck, your desire for incidental damage when creatures enter the battlefield is going to happen.
Otherwise, I think this deck is pretty good. +1

Dash cards like goblin heelcutter or token producers like brimaz coud work very well within the deck. Maybe Elspeth for your sideboard or iroas so your creatures won't die from being blocked and can push in for more damage. Honestly I don't like the swiftspears even though they are good, I feel that they don't synergize completely well with your strategy.

Im kinda curious about Rabblemaster? How would you not attack if Rabblemaster is on the table you HAVE to attack with every token?
Also, can you still put a 1/1 Token from Rabblemaster on the field even if you are NOT attacking this round? But that sounds kinda wierd cause Rabblemaster forces you to attack every Round :S So whats the hype about rabblemaster?
