As someone who missed out on the archenemy cards before I was very happy to get a chance to get some this time around in Duskmourn, but I realized shortly after getting one of the precons I realized they had amazing Scarecrow tokens. Scarecrows are a creature type that in my mind kinda goes hand in hand with Crows and Ravens but I always felt that they were a bit strange and hard to play around. With the release of some great cards in previous sets like Roaming Throne, Leyline of the Guildpact and Rendmaw, Creaking Nest I decided that an archenemy commander deck using Reaper King would be super fun.

Obviously focusing the deck around Reaper King with cards like Roaming Throne and a bunch of the older scarecrows like Antler Skulkin, Hoof Skulkin and Scarecrone I intend on destroying a lot of my opponents permanents. Leyline of the Guildpact helps out my other scarecrows like Rattleblaze Scarecrow and Wingrattle Scarecrow. Leyline of Transformation is to make all my scarecrows into insects to benefit from The Swarmweaver. Originally I wasn't going to add Parallel Lives or Anointed Procession but since I wanna make as many Scarecrow tokens as possible... I might as well.
