Very cool idea and concept, I love me some super friends.

Why is Sliver Hivelord your Commander though? Just wondering.

Besides the fact you could buy a used car for that deck cost, what is a good combo behind it? How do you play this deck?

I picked Sliver Hivelord over Sliver Queen for the indestructibility. I find that its better to have one guy that can withstand board wipes, removal and any creature than to have a commander that can create a bunch of tokens.

I generally avoid combos with my decks because of my playgroup. But, the deck plays out like a toolbox deck. The general idea is to abuse how good planeswalkers and enchantments are while being hard to remove. Theres never one single route I take to victory.

Why run Sliver Hivelord if you don't run Slivers? Why not something like Child of Alara, Progenitus, or Cromat?

You running the Sliver Hivelord just for Indestructibility?

PierreThePlaneswalker Has a point. If you are running it just for the indestructibility there are better choices. Most board wipes like Wrath of God or Damnation don't give a shit about indestructibility anyway.

Never mind, I am completely wrong. Was thinking Hexproof. Carry on.

Child of Alara hits all of my walkers when it dies. If I need a quick and dirty fog lock I can cast my commander and use Sphere of Resistance until they can find some sort of enchantment removal. I have thought about Cromat as my commander but I just don't see it as being a bigger benefit than having an indestructible 5/5. Progenitus is just too expensive.
