Maybe you could put a Godless Shrine instead of one Creeping Tar Pit. I playtested your deck against one of mine and I got a weird hand of 3 cards with one cruel ultimatum and 2 sphinx's rev. I was missing a white for rev AND a 3rd black for the ultimatum. So I got to fetch with a Polluted Delta but had to make a hard choice between the singleton Swamp and the singleton Hallowed Fountain because Ultimatum was really good at that moment in the game, but unlocking 2 potential Sphinx's Revelation was pretty good too...

Creeping Tar Pit is a good manland but the playset is too much imo :) you never or rarely activate 2 at the same time, so having potentially 4 on the battlefield doesn't help much. However, unlocking Sphinx's Revelation more easily is an important thing for a 4-color control deck :) I don't know if it's better to have a Sacred Foundry instead, since I also had some trouble casting Anger of the Gods T3 against heavy aggro decks... Maybe you should consider fixing this :) just saying, nice deck though!

Mystical Teachings might be nice. I've been running it in my UWRb deck and it's been great so far. other than that the deck looks sweet :)

I've been considering playing that for some time now. I'm just not sure what I'd take out. I haven't adjusted or playing with this deck in a while, though.

any thoughts on Tasigur, the Golden Fang? I run him in my modern cruel control as one of my main threats, along with Batterskull, Keranos, God of Storms and Cruel Ultimatum.I like the white for Sphinx's Revelation but why not also though a Path to Exile or Lingering Souls in aswell?

I'm surprised you found this deck lol. I stopped working on it a while ago, so I haven't been updating it. Actually I took it apart a couple months ago. I thought about running Souls at the time, and I don't why I didn't.

to counter storm you need something that counters triggered abilities. otherwise you are faced with 50 something individual spells pinging you for one. or you could some how get 7 Lullmage Mentors onto the battlefield to counter each individually

I hear that uve stopped using this deck, but I do want your opinion on something since is seems that you've already done it. I want to splash white for sphinx's Rev in my grixis cruel control deck snapcasters cruel command and I was wondering if it was worth it. And if I were to cut anything, I would cut 2 of the basic mountains for 1 Hallowed Fountain and one plains. And then cut Electrolyze Jace, Architect of Thought and a Mana Leak for 3 Sphinx's Revelation. Thoughts???
