You might want to try Grixis Charm over Wear / Tear , as it gives you more options with just a small change in colour requirement. If you want to fight tron, you could look at a few copies of Spreading Seas in the side.

I like the addition of Massacre Wurm . It's a great idea against some of the decks I face. I might give it a try.

The Wear / Tear is only for Leyline of Sanctity / Batterskull / Birthing Pod or agaisnt affinity

Just so you know, prophetic bolt is not legal in modern.

I am surprised to see you not playing any number of pyroclasms or anger of the gods anywhere. Also, I would play shattering spree or vandalblast over Wear/Tear.

Right, I didn't notice that you can get your white mana from Darksteel Ingot . I second the idea of a board wipe, probably with Anger of the Gods over Pyroclasm , since Wild Nacatl and friends need the three damage.

I'd suggest some Remand and Vapor Snag to replace the Nihil Spellbomb and Darksteel Ingot . If you are concerned about the loss of power from the Nihil Spellbomb , you could add in some Bojuka Bog

+1, just because finally, someone freaking understand what Cruel Control means, it means you have a god damn Cruel Ultimatum in your deck. So many people misuse the term.

hi voodoomaster, I was thinking of adding 3x Sowing Salt and 2x Bribery in my side, to run against tron.

And add some Tectonic Edge /Ghost Quarter to main (but i need a best mana base to do this), its nice with Extirpate

Tron shouldn't be a big enough metagame problem to merit 1/3 of the slots in the sideboard.

Finally a budget grixis deck that i can use as a base +1
