Grixis control for modern, focusing on value and maintaining a hand. Is a shell based on recent tournament decks - needs tweaking in regards to my FLGS's Meta.

Care choices are fairly self explanatory:

Cruel Ultimatum

Dropping this will often result in a scoop, else it just chugs along on the value train. Sure its casting cost is difficult, but worth the struggle.

Cryptic Command

The best counter. Hard on colours, but allows for so much versitility - eg.Snapcaster Mage into Cryptic Command countering a spell and bouncing Snapcaster Mage back to hand allowing for more use.

Snapcaster Mage

A staple in any Blue control deck. No more need be said.

Electrolyze & Serum Visions

Both smooth out draws and allow for some versitility. Burn and rigging my draws.

Mulldrifter

A draw spell early, a blocker and clock later.

Jace, Architect of Thought

Testing as a one of, Mini-Fact or Fiction allows for value while providing either a distraction or extra value if it survives the turn.

Lavaclaw Reaches

This can turn into a finisher late game, pumping through lethal damage after a big Cruel Ultimatum

I am not sure about the lack of Mystical Teachings to go searching for answers, however if this was added to maindeck - I feel a Pact of Negation would also finds it way in as a One-of or possible Vendilion Clique, or the lack mid-game presence in the form of Batterskull.

Having little to no point and click removal isn't such a bad thing due to my local meta, but I feel if I took this any higher it would need to find a way in.
