FNM Report — Feb. 27, 2016

Went 3-1 tonight, only lost to my buddy who was running Bant CoCo.

Game 1: Went 2-0 against Eldrazi Midrange. First game I mulled to 5 for land reasons but was able to grind out the win. Game two I was able to stabilize early and close out with two uncontested Erebos's Titan. The removal package in the deck is amazing with the Titan's.

Game 2: I lost handily to my friend, 0-2. His Bounding Krasis, Deathmist Raptor, Reflector Mage, Den Protector were just too resilient for me to overcome.

Game 3: Went 2-0 against Allies. Early Bloodsoaked Champion helped me, and removal into Thought-Knot Seer and Erebos's Titan closed out the Games.

Game 4: Went 2-1 against Abzan midrange. This was the only deck to give my buddy problems, but was able to win pretty easy. The removal package played really well and I played a lots of Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Liliana, Heretical Healer ^Flip. I Was able to use Lili to get a top deck war going each game to take the lead away with forced sacrifices into my favor. Only lost one game because I got land screwed and never got past my third land. I Was able to pull a Lili emblem and Infinite chain a Fleshbag Marauder at the start of every turn for the lockdown and win on game three... Definitely fun combo.

The deck did awesome, though a few of the regulars were out to Houston TX for the Grand Pix, but I think I would have faired well still if they were around. I got a lot of compliments on the design and flavor, and confusions at the rogue tech. People didn't really know how to board out against it either.
