Are you running infect as a sub-theme? I'm not sure myself. I think it's more likely that you'll end up doing 5 infect damage then moving on to giant eldrazi than actually kill with infect.

@Findlesticks. Nah the infect creatures are just deterrents for the early game. Plague Myr is also for mana ramp.

Quicksilver Amulet is always really good to have in eldrazi deck. It helps you if you can't get the mana that you need in time in order to cast the big eldrazi creatures. It also opens up the possibility for you to put in creatures that have a higher casting cost than you think would be viable.

diateone I do agree that card would benefit his deck immensely but look at the cost of all cards in the deck and think "does this fit his budget" It does work with the Eldrazi deck but I don't think any card he has in here is worth as much as Quicksilver Amulet. I think if you can afford it though then it is definitely something to try out because it seems pretty freaking amazing to say the least.

+1 love these kind of decks even tho i think its an unusual choice for a budget deck. too many of the really great cards are freaking expensive

some budget ideas:

how about Planar Portal for your card draw section? specific card you need > random cards.

Mindslaver + Prototype Portal lock in colorless ramp pretty sweet

Amulet of Vigor makes 12 post way faster. and multiple instances of amulet of vigor let you tap /untap cloudpost+ Vesuva (may even go up to 16post but i like 2&2 with thespians) multiple times when they enter the battlefield.

Sol Ring no1 can stop you from playing 4 of those in a casual deck ;)

I would have to make another deck that revolves around it since I would just be dividing the focus by putting it in here. I'll let you know when I do.
• @benelas16: this is a budget deck, and having 8x Vesuva/Thespian's Stage type cards would slow me down even if I wasn't also using the UrzaTron combo. It would be even more reliant on getting the right lands first.

Cyrrus When you live on budget decks it becomes apparent that anything over $5 can be breaking the budget especially when you only get 10 or so dollars twice a week so ya gotta use the money wisely to make the most out of it XD. I'm finishing my Commander deck at the moment but when I complete that after Christmas I'm definitely building this deck and taking it to my Casual Tournaments :3. Do you have anything else you could recommend for this deck? Any other good search cards? Any more cards for draw power?

I am currently making an Eldrazi deck (though not budget) and I found some card draw you might be interested in. Well of Knowledge will net you quite a few cards. It can be helpful for your opponents but they won't be nearly as mana ramped as you with the 12 post.

Funny, this is an eerily similar deck to one I just made myself, but mine is based more on artifacts like Myr Battlesphere, Blightsteel Colossus, Mycosynth Golem, Steel Hellkite, etc. And yeah, I too share the All Is Dust woes, unfortunately I find my deck just loses consistently to earlygame aggro if I don't have the ability to boardwipe by turn 5.

If you replace the Locus' but that's the best part so I'm not sure how well it would work.

You should put All Is Dust in there just to annoy the crap out of your opponent just when he thinks he has a chance.

Have you perhaps considered Void Winnower, the ability is broken.
