Hi there dear stranger who hungers for knowledge, who hugers for power and wisdom, who want to beat the shit out of enemys with using only commons...
This is a storm kind of a deck without storm cards, because they are banned in Pauper. Even if this is an Aggro kind of a deck, you can control the board with high success and if you don't, you got a sideboard to help with various matchups.
**Let's get into explanation!
Cards
Creatures
Delver of Secrets
: Our early aggro card, as well as a removable threat to our opponents that draws attention for bigger threat's. Overally this is a must in this deck.
Nivix Cyclops
: This is our bread and butter. The wind in the storm, the tooth in the mouth of a beast. He can survive a Lightning Bolt and can hit like a truck, can defend, synergises with nearly all of the cards. This is the backbone of this deck.
Kiln Fiend Same as Cyclops but with less body and cmc.
Viscera Dragger
: Could be a finisher, or a 3/3 with reanimation as well as a card drawing engine to thin the deck. Perfect.
Sorcerys
Artful Dodge: You can make four unblockable creatures with two cards? Seems legit to me...
Blightning: Damage and discard? Could distrupt your enemy's game early, or finish you the game late.
Ponder: You can dig through the card you need, or make sure you draw the right card in time when you need it, also thins the deck. Not a surprise it is banned in Modern.
Read the Bones: I find this much better than Sign in Blood because you can scry for only one more mana before you draw, also this seems a better choice in a Grixis deck due to only one fixed mana symbol.
Gitaxian Probe: Thins the deck, and is a good card to start your combo on
Nivix Cyclops
because you can see what could kill your combo and get ready for it in time.
Instants
Double Cleave
: Hit like a truck? Hit like two trucks at the same time and everyone will be happy. Except your enemys.
Lightning Bolt: Best removal of all times, the beast of this format. A must.
Brainstorm: Same purpose as Ponder but at instant speed so I will not discuss these cards more. They are nice.
Manamorphose: Color fixing and deck thinning in one card? Aww man.
Perplex: A tutor and counterspell in one card? I think i don't need to say anything.
Terminate: Two mana destroys are good but without restriction? Even better and the anti regeneration effect... I don't know, why is it a common?
Titan's Strength: Hit more and scry more, and help to survive? FOR ONLY ONE MANA? You must be kidding...
Lands
Nothing fancy here, but Terramorphic Expanse for fetching the right color in need.
Artifact
Lotus Petal: Color fixing is always good in a three color deck and in pauper you dont have a lot of fancy lands so this card makes it's value in this format three times more than in other formats.
Sideboard
Blightning: Another one for too much draws or life gain.
Devour Flesh
: Hexproof? Nah...
Dispel: For Counterspell matchups or burn or discard or combo so everything with lots of instants.
Duress: For combo decks, or control matchups, this is THE card.
Unearth: Good against discard decks, or against lots of removals.
Mana Leak: If you face control, or combo decks, this is your card to put in.
