A while back I bought a Nightmare bundle and pulled Valgavoth, Terror Eater and at that time I had no plans for him... things have changed. Shortly after getting Valgavoth I realized a beautiful synergy with Ashiok, Wicked Manipulator. No longer am I limited to paying life to cast my opponents spells... with Ashiok I just need cards in my library.

Using cards like Victor, Valgavoth's Seneschal and Cynical Loner I can get Valgavoth in my graveyard pretty early and if someone takes those out too I have Surgical Suite / Hospital Room to bring them back. For the Cynical Loner to get Valgavoth into the graveyard I'll be using Unidentified Hovership. The staples of this deck that help bring it all together are Abyssal Harvester and more importantly Rite of the Moth. If Valgavoth fails to stay on the field though I have Overlord of the Mistmoors as a back up. Finally we have Staff of Compleation for the games that you just wanna exile your opponents deck faster than they can play it... or maybe you get stuck without a land so you make some mana with it instead. Anyways this is my standard reanimator deck, let me know your thoughts.
