Uses Vorel of the Hull Clade for counter doubling shenanigans.

My first EDH deck. All my friends got the 2013 pre-cons but I really wanted something different and unique so I made one from scratch and here it is. (Turns out Vorel's not that unique haha, but it is in my meta). It's taken a lot of tuning since I didn't really know what staples should be had at first, but I've gotten it to this point.

Vorel is a really all-in strategy. If your early threats get wiped and you don't manage to protect em, it's hard to come back, so I find it best to just go all-out, especially in 1v1. This deck seems to work best in 1v1 rather than multiplayer, solely because it can get away with more aggressive starts.

I'm still learning all of the interactions in this deck, but there's quite a few to be had.

For some reason I haven't seen that many other Vorel lists run Pemmin's Aura and Freed from the Real despite running Illusionist's Bracers, when these are awesome inclusions. Definitely pick those up.

Cards in the Maybeboard are cards I'd want to acquire to put in; I don't have them yet or else they'd be in here already. I'm just waiting to place one big order.

I'd love to get advice on what other cards would be good in this deck!
