I updated this with Dark Ascension
Hellrider is a fine Raid Bombardment replacement, and should seal quite a few games.
Tournament results
FNM 4/20/12 - 3-1
Match 1 - BW tokens L 0-2
This is probably my worst matchup pre-board. I had no luck at all. Post-board is 50/50, but I didn't draw any Slagstorms. I did have him set up for the win, but couldn't draw any of the 16 outs I had for the last 2 turns.
Match 2 - UB Zombies W 2-0
Now I get the luck. I curved out perfectly, and my deck was basically evil and smothering.
Match 3 - Rogue Delver w/mill W 2-0
Again, not much to say. My deck hummed along and the massive amount of cards going to my graveyard was almost completely irrelevant. I did get 2 Chandra's Phoenixes back in the first game which was fun.
Match 4 - Burning Vengeance W 2-1
I lost the first game by basically drawing half of the lands in my deck. I was so far ahead that any spells would have been enough. Post-board, Grafdigger's Cage is just stupid. Large Shrines were also key factors.
I ended up taking 2nd on tiebreakers, mainly because my one loss was to the eventual champion.
FNM 3/23/12 - 4-0
Match 1 - Huge Red Rogue W 2-0
This was an interesting deck, incorporating tons of burn and large hasty red creatures. We had one close game, but Hellrider and Shrine of Burning Rage were key.
Match 2 - G/B Beats W DQ
Newish player. He knew when he dropped Phyrexian Totem that he grabbed the wrong card. He had no sideboard to swap it out, so he was out of the tourney.
Match 3 - G/W Ramp W 2-0
This deck never really got off the ground as I picked off his mana dorks every time. He got a Primeval Titan out in game 2, but it was too late, and Goblin Grenade ended it.
Match 4 - Kuldotha Red W 2-0
These were some pretty epic games, with both of us muttering 'land for the win?' in one game. Shrine of Burning Rage was key as usual, but the second game hinged on me using Reverberate to copy his Kuldotha Rebirth. Hellrider on my turn equals win after that.
