Hate drafting in general should only really be done if there are no cards left that you are realistically going to put in your deck (extreme exceptions apply). I mean it'll help us out what? 1/8 matches?

Meh, Then my vote is for the body over the niche spell +1 Wolf Rider
June 28, 2013 7:07 p.m.
+1 Alive//Well
I've played against it enough times in draft to know the kind of tempo and life swing it can create, especially on a stalled board. Wolf rider is also pretty good, but I'd almost guarantee that we'll see another one, and you really don't want to run more than one in the deck.
Azorius is definitely wide open here, and someone down the line is going to be exceptionally happy to see a deputy come around at this point. I wouldn't be surprised at all is some of our cards get cut pack two to someone down the line playing GUw

KrazyCaley - thanks for that.
Supersun - since I'm most confident that you're on late, I'll leave the final pick to you.
June 28, 2013 10:19 p.m.
So right now we've got 5 for the wolf rider (GureiSeion, TheHorse, tempest, ChiefWannaHacka, zaddos), and 3 for alive // well (Supersun, kanofudo, myself). Anyone else need to chime in?
June 29, 2013 12:15 a.m.
Azorius is open TO OUR LEFT.
After the stuff that we've seen pass by, there's no way someone to our right isn't running it.
Also, Skaven123 has recently been added to our team. I'll see if I can get his vote.
Also, if possible, can people reconfirm their vote? Helps get a final tally, keeps people more engaged in the debate, and helps prevent drive-by voting lol. If someone doesn't reconfirm their vote I won't exclude it or anything. It's just a good practice in general to have a "final answer" vote after all the debate.
Since I think we won't be seeing the last of that wolf, and this may be our best chance to grab a nicely flexible card.
+1 Alive / Well

Confirming +1 Alive//Well
I'm not ready to pick a card we're almost guaranteed to see more of over a card we probably won't.

hey sorry guys. i was with my family at the beach hence my absence for that time period
i'm changing my vote the alive / well since its versatile. it can be a creature when you need it or a life saver when you need it or both. although 4 mana for a 3/3 doesn't excite me, i think the other half makes up for it. we just need to start getting more creatures (especially some cheap ones) as the bulk of our deck should be creatures

Guys, I need a final call from your group; midnight deadline is here.
June 29, 2013 2:56 a.m.
From what I count.
Wolf - Chief, Zaddos, Horse, Gurei
A/W - Supersun, Kanofudo, Zephyr, Tempest.
...great...

Your call, Supersun. I suggest you either use yourself or Gurei as the tiebreaker.

That works too. Wolf it is! I'll post your guys' next pack here momentarily since Gurei's away.

I see nothing great in our colors.
Feel like gambling? We could go for Nivix Cyclops and hope the rest of the Red/Blue brigade comes along. If it doesn't then I don't think I'll be missing anything else from this pack.

+1 Golgari Cluestone
Seems like as good a time as any to grab some kind of fixing.
June 29, 2013 5:04 a.m.
Cluestones in general are terrible at fixing (especially when there's a gate in every pack), but in 3x DMG they are about the best we are going to get in regards to ramp.
I mean ramp wouldn't be terrible since we have pretty high cost cards atm, but should be taken as an absolute last pick since in my experience they rarely make it into the final deck.

7th pick Scab-Clan Giant? What the hell? That thing is one of the best draft cards in the set, easily first pick-able.
+1 Scab-Clan Giant, either to hate it out, or keep Naya open as an option (light black splash for willing?)
June 29, 2013 7:18 a.m.
We have 2 choices. Commit to our colors and pick something we will for sure use or gamble or pick the cyclops and hope the rest of the Izzet cards are also coming. As tempting as the Izzet cards are, I think we should go for either mending touch. It's unrealistic to run all 5 colors and we already have a pretty nice base in junk so I say we stay in our junk colors. I don't believe there's any removal that prevents regen in DGM so the regen could really help us bait an opponent's removal or save our creature from our removal.
As good as the izzet cards sound, we have a better base in junk already. Be smart and Commit to junk to make our deck better
+1 mending touch

Fluxcharger and Nivix Cyclops say hi. We passed them both, and the person who grabbed those would love to snap up Punish. I was just putting forth a new thought, we haven't had much debate.
