Personally, I really dislike triple DGM as a format from the little I've drafted of it on mtgo.

You know what...
+1 Maze Abomination
There are 3 cluestones in this pack. There's a fairly good chance that one of them will table around back to us, and 2 of them would easily give us the last dual source that we need.
(I just hope it isn't Showstopper and Mutant's Prey that tables back to us)
That Maze abomination would work very well as a "second" Maze Sentinel, and now that we have 3 Wolfies and a Scab-Clan Giant, any bonuses to our multicolors is very relevant. Not to mention that there's always the dream of having a Scab Clan have both Vigilance and Deathtouch. :D
The only thing I have against the Abomination is that he doesn't exactly play that well with the Gorgons that might table back to us.

It's not just you, 3xDMG is a terrible format. It was never really intended to be drafted on its own.

Now mix in a hivemind that has little to no experience with DGM x3 and watch the anarchy that ensues.
It is only the sixth pick, we still have a little time to hold off on the stones... I'm okay with the aberration, which incidentally can also kill common walls by itself.

+1 aberration.
Realized that I didn't actually vote in my post,

Well, from what I see, Aberration's got the lead. Since KC's streaming, I'll give it another two hours before submitting.

Pack's up.
Don't let my commentary fool you - Our sinful friend sounds like more effort than he's worth.
July 26, 2013 3:18 a.m.
Despite the fact that only 1 card will table it might be worth taking the risk that the wolf will table. IIRC in the previous 2 packs we've gotten a late wolfie both times.
July 26, 2013 3:21 a.m.
So what do we take here? Wolf rider and blaze commando are in our colours, but we already have a bunch of the former and the latter isn't that great. Other than that, we have our sinful friend and removal :/
This is going to take some thought
July 26, 2013 10:08 a.m.
Man, we get a ton of horrible packs and then they throw us packs with several good things. Yeesh. Well, kinda wanna go for the sin collector but the cluestones and the maze sentinel are both appealing. I don't think we should go too far into black so I'm leaning toward maze sentinel since we'll probably get cluestones later and vigilance wolf riders sound really nice. If we meet the green maze guy, I say we take it since it works well with deathtouch and works well with the skeleton if we use it

I like the Collector, but doubt we'd consistently get it out on three-four without adding hard swamps. That in-color guildgate, on the other hand, would fit right in without a problem.
July 26, 2013 11:44 a.m.
and we really want to be playing cluestones so we can get our turn 4 wolf rider
July 26, 2013 12:46 p.m.
Because we're going to be able to play Sin Collector when most of our black mana sources will be on cluestones :P
(Also, people don't generally draft a ton of Instant or Sorceries compared to creatures. Getting a peek at their hand is nice, but there's a pretty good chance of not even being able to exile anything (though slapping that DtD we saw earlier would be lulzy))
+1 Maze Sentinel
I'm willing to take the risk that the Wolf Rider will table. If it does that will leave us with 4x Wolf Riders, 1x Scab, 2x Sentinals, and 1x Abomination. Dropping a Multicolored 4/6 on T4, and a fat Buffer on T5 will probably shut down most aggro attempts on the ground and probably give us the most dominant position on the ground.
With 5 Multicolors we will most likely see one by T4. We will need 5-6 cluestones to regularly see one by T3. We could use a 4th buffer to have a higher chance of seeing one by T5.
I think our drafting priority should be this for now
Multicolored Buffers > Cluestones > Multicolored Fatties > Everything Else
(I'd prefer not to run more then 2 Sentinels though since Vigilance doesn't exactly stack).
Man, did I really just say that we need 5-6 Cluestones? 3xDMG is stupid lol.

Heh, that it is! Great for out of box thinking, though.
I imagine there's still enough stones around to warrant nabbing the fatty.

So officially, I've got one for Sin Collector one for Sentinel.Any last words or vote clearing for this one? KC's streaming so I can take a little time with this submission.

+1 Sentinel
we need to do something with all that mana... :P

Yes, in limited you can run any number of a card.

I'm not sure how much I'd want to play four cluestones, but there really aren't any other good options unless we want to take our black splash into the maze abomination. For all the reasons Supersun pointed out, the roc is not a great pick, especially since we've seen at least one profit//loss go by.
Man, this draft has been driving me nuts. I don't know if its the 3xDGM format or the hive mind, but the colours and signals have been all over the place. It'll be interesting to see what everyone else drafted at the end.
