Nap's down, pack's up!
I'm guessing everyone wants to Wake, too?
July 30, 2013 5:02 a.m.
Was hoping that Boros Cluestone would still be in here D:
Oh well, I guess drafting a second Wear/Tera for the sideboard wouldn't be a terrible idea (would also give us an interesting option against anyone else trying to cluestone ramp like we are).
July 30, 2013 5:03 a.m.
Ehh, we didn't get enough populate sources for a second Wake. Remember that those picks were largely in case we ended up drafting into a lot of token makers. While we didn't do terrible (someone else was drafting those white gatekeepers hard) I don't think we are going to want to run more then 1 at most.

Right, right, I needed that reminder. Sign me up for the fuse bandwagon.
July 30, 2013 5:11 a.m.
It's also, coincidentally, also hatedrafting the card that could ruin our deck the most by far.
July 30, 2013 5:19 a.m.
+1 wear/tear
Up all night working on a paper, whooooooooooooooo!

So, half the groups are in support of KC autodrafting the rest of this pack. If one more goes for it, it shall be done.
Thoughts?
July 31, 2013 2:58 a.m.
I wouldn't mind as long as we can give our ideal picks ahead of time to give a general feel of what we want from the pack.
Pack 11
(1) Selesnya Cluestone
(2) Azorius Cluestone
(3) Boros Dog / Phytoburst
Pack 12
(1) Gorgon
(2) Behemoth
(3) Orzhov Vluestone
(4) Boros Cluestone
(5) Firstblade
(6) Wake
The rest are normally auto drafted anyway
July 31, 2013 3:11 a.m.
Agreed. I'm down with autodrafting if we can set some kind of preference.

And there's a majority. All that's left is to wait for all the picks to come in.

Also relayed Supersun's preferences ahead of time in case that happened.
July 31, 2013 3:37 a.m.
hmm, was hoping for at least one more multicolored beater.
Oh well, not the end of the world.
In regards to the deck
-1 Azorius Cluestone
+1 Orzhov Cluestone
(I'm assuming that was just a derp)
-1 Forest
+1 Mountain
-1 Izzet Cluestone
+1 Rot Farm Skeleton
...is what I think the best changes are.
July 31, 2013 7:34 p.m.
I agree with supersun on those changes inexactly what I was thinking
July 31, 2013 9:06 p.m.
Actually, if we are going to run the Skelly, we'll likely need at least one more source.
3 Blacks might be cutting it on the short end.
In that case
-1 Plains
+1 Swamps

Yeah, totally a derp on my part.
I'm cool with these changes. How about trimming this size 43 down to a size 40?
August 1, 2013 3:24 a.m.
lol already though it was 40 XD
umm...
this'll be a toughy.
I'd run 41 cards with 18 lands, or 40 cards with 17 lands which should give us the equivalent of ~26 lands in a 60 card deck which means we only really have to cut 2 cards.
-1 Renounce the Guilds. There's at least a few people running gatekeepers and solid color flyers, probably better to scout out the opponents deck game 1 first and then see if we need Renounce the Guilds or not, especially since our deck kind of turned into probably the biggest multicolored deck at the table.
As much as I hate to cut it...
-1 Zhur-Taa Druid. We only have around maybe a 60% chance at best of getting the lands required to drop him by turn 2, and while he is amazing if you can get him to stick T2 he is also a terrible top deck when we want to be drawing fatties later int he game.
Maybe someone else has some better ideas of what to cut?
August 1, 2013 5:08 a.m.
battering krasis? because he's a bad card and we'd rather be spending turn 3 ramping anyway?
August 1, 2013 5:50 a.m.
Normally I would cut the Krasis, but...
We are running 5 things with toughness 6. That means the Krasis has the potential to evolve into a 7/6 with trample.
While the 7/6 probably won't happen it wouldn't be that difficult at all to evolve a Krasis into at least a 4/3, and a 5/4 wouldn't be that rare either if we drop Krasis T3, drop a 4 cmc drop T4, drop a wolf T5, drop a 6 cmc drop T6.
Krasis tends to need a specific type of deck to work which is why I was hesitant on drafting them earlier, but if there's any deck at this table that is going to use him effectively, it's ours. I mean we are a creature heavy deck with a bunch of monsters with high toughness which is about as ideal for a Krasis as you can get besides a +1/+1 counter manipulation deck itself.

Yeah, I'm not seeing it being too hard for him to hit that ever-relevant 4 power (>a href=http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/0/7666/1099409-koolaidman.jpg>"OH YEAH!"). Though I do feel in need of some reassurance for holding onto Rot Farm Skeleton...
Anyone else on Krasis, Renounce, and Druid?

Sorry Maze Rusher, looks like the Cluestone has it.
