I have, but they didn't make the cut when I was building. Treasure Hunt is one of the ones that could come back someday.

yeah Thawing Glaciers is often what i tutor for in my Dakkon Blackblade edh deck. I find Dreamscape Artist is another good enabler.
as a big beater I find a lot of good unblockable stuff is handy like Whispersilk Cloak or Dauthi Embrace . a Time Stretch when hes at only 7 can put someone away right fast.
keep in mind it's the right colors for Magister Sphinx though he might get you slapped

Yeah, I almost put Magister Sphinx in the deck during the last round of changes, but it's another one of those cards that's just too cheesy for the format. Whispersilk Cloak is a good call. I'm thinking about that and Vorrac Battlehorns as possible additions.

Hey, I have been looking to make a Dakkon Blackblade EDH myself, any tips for someone trying to make a deck around him?

Since Dakkon's ability is only really relevant to himself, a deck built around him is likely to be more about what the colors are good at and like to do, rather than any particular theme. In this deck, for example, I decided to explore the strong control, card advantage, and planeswalkers the colors have to offer (though Oloro, Ageless Ascetic would probably be better for this, at least Dakkon doesn't put a giant target on my head before the game begins). I think it would also be cool to use him as the color-identity basis for a tribal zombie deck that can incorporate some of the new white zombie-centric cards from Amonkhet as well as some interesting ones that have been printed in the past.

I was thinking about building Dakkon myself, however I was going to learn towards a sort of "lands matter" deck. Basically trying to build the deck and creatures/other spells around " This card does this for X amount of lands you control" or having their Power/Toughness based off of this as well such as Dakkon. Throw in some land fetches and I think you could build a deck with strong creatures as well as having some other worth while spells since you're in .

My post was in response to the "color fixing" suggestion. Obviously, Terramorphic Expanse doesn't increase the number of lands you have past what a normal land would.
Have you considered things like Treasure Hunt and Knight of the White Orchid ?
